In my country, things like changing the sex or gender orientation of a child are criminally punishable by imprisonment

My 5 year old son came to me crying because the girls were teasing him, saying he was a girl because he was playing with a doll. I said "honey, some day you will likely be a daddy, and its a good idea to learn now how to hold a baby. When you put that doll down you will still be a boy and when you play with your trucks you will still be a boy and you will grow up into a man". Today he is a fantastic husband and father. Gods blessing!!

My brother was trapped inside of a womans body until our mother gave birth to him.

This isn't what it means when they say support your child's dreams.
  • My brother was playing dolls with me and my friends all the time. You know, what happened later? He grew up to be a great dad! People are so confused.

I was bullied for winning spelling bees. So I got a math tutor and started winning math competitions, too. That shut them all up.

Yes: Bullying is not ok. Yes: You are loved. No: What you’re doing to your body is not temporary.

Who wasn't bullied at school? Life can be tough. We all have difficulties. Sadly, life's difficulties have just been increased in this child's life. Just give it a few years. I really hope this child gets the help that will actually help. God bless this child.

I wish children could understand that literally everything in their life is temporary and only a drop in the bucket of their reality.

Every adult involved in allowing a child to make a life altering decision should be held accountable

I may be a guy, but I'm fairly certain that there's WAY more to being a female than dresses and makeup

When you see this poor kids mum you just know her never had a chance.

When I was a kid I was bullied too. I loved to play with cars and watch WWF. Andre the giant and Hulk Hogan were my favorite. I even used to play outside without a shirt. Until one day my cousins told me that I couldn’t go without a shirt anymore because my body was starting to change. I had liked not having to wear a shirt but understood why I had to so I began wearing shirts. Then one day another cousin made fun of me for not playing with Barbies. She said I didn’t know how. But I had never played with one before. So I grabbed it from her, started making it walk and said, “See, I Do know how to play with Barbie’s.” That was the first time I played with them and I liked it. And I still liked cars and wrestling too. And that was ok. As an adult I recently learned (within the past year) why I had struggled to get along with others and was bullied. It was the same reason I didn’t speak until I was 5 yrs old. And why I still can’t speak sometimes. But other kids don’t know that. Unfortunately most kids react in a bullying manner when encountered with someone who they don’t understand. Unfortunately they do the same as many adults in that they fill in the blanks of what they don’t understand about someone with the negative thoughts that are in their own heads. They think that because someone can’t talk it’s because they think they’re better than the person they’re not talking to. But that is the other person’s insecurities and them feeling rejected. I’m glad I was born before the internet. I would have otherwise been convinced to change MYSELF because of other peoples insecurities.

When I was 12-13, I thought I wanted to be a boy. Turns out I just hated having my period and being treated differently from the guys in my class xD Now as an almost 27 year old, I couldn’t be happier that I was born a woman and will always be a woman 🥰
  • My daughter doesn't enjoy any of the things you do that made you conclude that you're a girl, she enjoys Rugby, play fighting, gaming but she's a girl, a happy girl.
