THE BOOSTED BOARD WINTER RIDE GUIDE

Published 2019-01-18
Overall, don't if you don't have to and definitely do not when you are riding into a blizzard. If it's dry, ride.

5yrs later, this helped me haha. I still have my board in great condition. Just had to get somewhere when my car is in the shop 😂
  • @ILLAILLS

Thanks for this! I’ve been wondering about this as well.

Just moved to Montreal so no joke I've been wondering about this... Also liked the Montreal video too! Keep up the great work dude.

Great vid! I most likely won’t be riding my stealth in snow, but I learned a ton about my board in general. Appreciate it. Do you have e any new tips for a stealth?

I’m considering buying a boosted rev and am in Toronto. Great video.
  • Thanks for the Gaffer Tape tip! Also agree that the board is cleared of salt. I use wet rags to wipe down and brush clean the deck too. Suggestion, get a 10K - 30K lumen headlamp. (Amazon has wide selection). Keeps your hand free. Oncoming traffic and pedestrians give you a little more respect. LOL!

Buddy thanks for the video, greetings from Toronto too, folk! I'm riding a Backfire G2, a model pretty similar to yours and I was starting to get worried about my uncertain commute future for this upcoming winter and I found your video Super clarifying and relevant for eboarders like us. Great , thanks again! I was wondering if you have any thoughts about switching the wheels for these cloudwheels offered by backfire, which apparently give a more all terrain capacity or grip.
  • he videos are helpful on replacing belts. Unfortunately rocks exist on all roads especially in the bike lanes because cars flick rocks into it from their tire tred. I’m spending the same money or more on re ordering belts than I would spend on gas driving my car to work. I’m getting an average of 150 miles out of a set of belts and by then they snap in half and I have to push home or are heavily warn and torn. We all need to speak up about this inconvenient and expensive issues with riding a Boosted Board.

The Boosted board shower clip was like a horror scene. I was cringing and not only that i was like “nooooo what are you doing???” Wet wipes are a thing. Next video fork in the toaster? Jesus Christ.... #savethisboostedboard
