I am french and I find you are the best resource to learn about politics in my country ^^
  • Is|amophobia is common sense. It's not extremism. Is|am is extremism. Opposing it is humanity.
  • Right wing is on the rise for the right reasons.. everyone is wary of one particular religion for the right reasons
  • I always knew this would happen. Marine Le Penn has been a life long worker of French Swayam Sevak Sangh. It is part of larger "Prapanch Parivar" of RSS. Same can be said about Geert Wilders who was also a dedicated member of Dutch Swayam Sevak Sangh. Cheers and best wishes!
  • Bhai 27 ka hoke president yaha 28 mei naukri nhi lag rahi 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Imagine if PM of India dismissed a state government ruled by opposition and called for fresh elections just because it faired poorly in national election! That is what Macron has just done.

At 18:53, New Popular Front is a coalition of left wing parties not ultra right wing. I think there was gaffe by you Sir.

The rise of the Right not only in France but in most countries in Europe could be attributed to the fallout of the Ukraine war. The economic distress caused by the war due to disruption in supplies and indirect involvement in the war by NATO is in my view responsible for the churn all over Europe. In some ways also is that countries are getting resigned to the fact that war is inevitable and will sooner or later spread beyond Ukraine's borders

Did you see the results in Germany? Greens lost so badly and many youths voted for AFD
  • Mr Shekhar Gupta Your videos are pretty well researched. But since your content contains a lot of data or dates, it gets difficult to get what you are trying to communicate. Therefore a suggestion- try and use slides whenever you have data or dates or chronology, would get a lot easier to understand.
  • SG has not talked much about the Popular Front, a formidable alliance of all left and center left parties. Also could have briefly talked about French debt situation. Anyways thank you for the information, great as usual.
  • Was expecting a “CTC from Abroad” but never mind good to see Shekhar ji back in action from his workspace.

Always nice to hear Gupta ji make things very clear, in his own inimitable fashion as to "cut the clutter".
