  • Something I found in the DLC. If Geeta and Larry are talking in the League Room, Geeta says she volunteered Larry for a tournament in a another region. So we could be getting to see him again in another game!
  • I’m surprised he didn’t mention the backpacker in Sword & Shield outside of Stow-on-Side who literally speaks Spanish. That feels like a pretty intentional choice. Edit: atleast in the English version i think
  • Another fun hint is Munna! In gen 1 after the rock tunnel you talk to an NPC who says something along the lines of "I wish there was a pink pokemon with a floral pattern!" and thats exactly what Munna is!
  • Suede pointed out that the Orange Islands arc of the anime seemed to introduce every new gimmick the games would have for a while. Pokemon of different colors, regional variants, island trials, double battles, etc. It was pretty weird.
  • Netherlands isn't even that Farfetch'd as you think. In-game hints BDSP has a Starry Nights picture from Van Gogh ScarVio has Artazon, which is giving off huge Netherlands vibes with the windmills, flowers and art (All things the Netherlands is known for) Player house has a picture with 2 windmills on it as well Hassel is actuall a surname that finds its origin in the Netherlands. People say Hassels eyes are yellow, but they are leaning more towards orange to me as well. Quaxly is based on the Crested Duck. Its Dex entry says that it migrated from another region... now... the Crested Duck is from the East Indies, but here is the thing: They were brought to Euroope on Dutch trading ships. So Quaxly's dex entry might actually be another hint for a Netherlands region. Out-game hints We have a Pikachu Around the World plushie set, which features a Pikachu from Japan, but also one from the UK and USA. But there are 2 more plushies, one resembles China and the last one resembles the Netherlands, as its dressed in traditional Dutch attire (It even has clogs). We recently got that collab between Pokemon and the Van Gogh museum. Masuda even toured Netherlands. There is also the Dutch-Japan connection in the past, there are several Dutch styled Windmill festivals in Japan and the biggest themepark in Japan is called Huis ten Bosch, which is styled after the Netherlands.
  • Here's one that I don't think anyone has talked about yet. After you beat the Scarlet and Violet epilogue, Carmine can sometimes be in the League Club room talking to Amarys. If you talk to them, Carmine gives Amarys Syrupy Apples from Kitakami. Amarys says she wants to use them for her paintings. As we learned from playing the Indigo Disk, Amarys is from Castelia City, which is, of course, where Gym Leader Burgh lives, who is also a painter. I don't think they are related, but Amarys may have at least been inspired by Burgh to paint.

Personally, Kitakami is more leaning towards Johto while obviously Blueberry is leaning towards Unova. The fact that you are given a sports ball by Perrin at the end of the DLC I don't think is a coincidence.

I love the period after a new region/generation is revealed and everyone speedrun the games to find the clues already present in them.
  • I think it is highly possible that the DLC themself are the hint for the next remakes. Kitakami resembles so much to Jhoto, and the Blueberry Academy is obviously a hint to Unova. I still cannot find something that suggests the next generation, but it might be in the vanilla Game itself
  • Imagine if the next region was based in the Netherlands, a regional variant of roselia that has tulips instead of roses
  • @FTChomp9980
Pokemon X and Y is not only the most underrated entry in Pokemon but was the start of trend of unfinished Pokemon games because man in Pokemon X and Y there was so much missing: The Power Plant that wasn't explorable AZ still a Mystery The Lumiose City Ghost Girl And many more as well.
  • @animaniac181
"Many Mega Evolutions become enraged" while showing Pinsir who's just happy to fly
  • My favorite forshadowing was how Diantha's theme had bits of both the hoenn gym leader theme and deoxys' theme, to hint that gen 3 remakes were next, and also that deoxys played more of a part in it
  • GF works on games years ahead, i remember hearing that when they were making BW2, SM was also in development (The 3ds was released in Japan February 2011)
  • Pokemon had a pretty big collab with the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam last year so maybe that is a tease to the Netherlands aswell
  • I am from The Netherlands. So if there is a region based on the Netherlands, that will be super cool. we can get a lot of great grass water and ground types because the Netherlands is full of nature

4:56 Lucas' hat isn't a beret. It's a flat cap originating in Northern England. Also, in the current core series timeline Sycamore would very likely be too young to have a 12 year old child. It also likely would have been mentioned somewhere in xy if he did have children, even just a passing comment.
  • Following off the crystals in Unova being very similar to the Tera Crystals, Gen 5 is the game that had all the Type Gems for Pokemon to hold. They might possibly be some form of Tera Crystals, since they give a 50% bonus to damage, basically a STAB for the move, just like Terastalizing does.

This makes me hopeful that Missingno will some day become canon.
