  • The $1 coins are a series that was created from 2007 to 2011 and includes all the US presidents (except the ones who are still alive).
  • Gabriel, you did not show the new incredible library. You had it in front of you in the plaza and then you walked right past it. It is an incredible building housing the best library in all of Latin America. How can you have missed this?
  • Just a side note- it’s amazing how much better these cameras have gotten over the last 10 years. Especially with picture stability. Really makes the experience better for the viewer

Looks like an up-and-coming country that's moving in the right direction.

El Salvadors constitution does not allow a second consecutive term. So what Nayib Bukele did was find a loophole an 6 months before his term ended he resigned with congressional approval and left power to his secretary the Current president Claudia Juana Rodríguez de Guevara. He then had approval to run for a second term since he was not currently the President.
  • Great choice of music. The ones you said looks like olives are call Jocotes. Very good flavor. It's a fruit.
  • Good to see the country moving in the right direction. I’m rooting for them. Was there several years ago and it was pretty dodgy.

Such a great looking city. And for a capital city it still have the local original vibe i feel. Many captital cities in the world are so focussed on tourists that it feels a bit fake full of tourist traps. This is not the case here it looks like. Such a possitive experience. Everyone is doing their thing. Fantastic!

Bukele was re-elected on february 4 with around 85 % of the vote. He was involved in changing the rules I believe to be able to be re-elected for a second term. I think that is only good for the people , the country and the future. A lovely center. I talked to a number of Salvadorians visiting from the US telling me about the huge changes that has happened over the last few years. How they even didn't dare visiting their own home country at times which says a lot. The cathedral was really beautiful. I didn't go into the library (chinese money) which is said to be really nice, cause the queues were always hundreds of meters both of my days wandering around the center. The temperature was really nice when I was there during the day and even a bit cold in the evenings. One trip I enjoyed was a trip on local bus to the Puerto del Diablo. A bit touristy (locals) but lovely views up top. Volcan de San Salvador, another trip I did was a bit overrated.

  • Nice taste of El Salvador so far. Cheap food and beer, beautiful church in San Salvador and vibrant markets. Glad to hear it is a lot safer these days. Sounds like there is a lot to see and do there. Safe travels 😊❤️
