CRAFT THERAPY With DAPHNE'S DIARY ✨☕ Vintage Junk Journal With Me!

Published 2024-06-26
Hello Friends!

I hope you will join me today for a relaxing craft therapy video, where we flip through my junk journal, look for pretty images in a Daphne's Diary magazine, and then make a vintage-inspired spread in my journal.

If you would like to see how I made this particular journal, here is the tutorial for you:
part 1:    • ✨✂️ Daphne's Diary JUNK JOURNAL #1 Ma...
part 2:    • ✨✂️ Daphne's Diary JUNK JOURNAL #2 Ch...

And here is the video in which I show you the mixed media distressed papers:
   • LET'S USE A WHOLE BOOK #1 ✂️📚 Distres...

Thank you for crafting with me today and see you soon in the next one!
Martyna xx

Every time I see a Daphne’s Diary magazine, I think of you. So fun to see you using one to create!
  • I'm so glad you're back with us, it's hot here in the USA, in the state of Iowa has been 80s and 90 degrees fairenheit and very humid. Thank goodness for AC.
  • Wow Martyna, love this vintage page…can’t wait to see more. Your temperature of 34 degrees C is I think around 98 degrees F. I am in Nova Scotia, Canada and we have just been through a very hot spell like yourselves with temperature & humidity between 40 - 45 degrees C far too hot…bring on Autumn 🥰🌷❤️🌺

Welcome back! You were missed! I always enjoy your inspiring creativity.🥰

I'd enjoy seeing you create some "vintage tape" especially since I like the piece on the corner of the photo, which you lined up perfectly. I also have a tendency to hoard my special pieces of paper and vintage finds. I like your goal to use it so you have it forever, instead of feeling that once you've used it, it's gone. And I agree, 20C (68F) is perfect. It's a pleasure to craft with you.

Been holding my breath for one of your Daphne’s Diary sessions!
  • It’s so good to watch you craft again! I remember when you made this journal. So fun to revisit it! ❤️

It has been in the 90sF here in Pittsburgh, PA. It will cool off tomorrow. Love your creations today! ❤️

I haven't watched your videos in a very long time... Any junk journal ones, actually. I went thru a heavy knitting phase, then sewing, then knitting again, now I'm all over the map with cow's hoof trimming videos and such😂 but I always loved your philosophy and creative approach to just go with the flow, and your voice is very lovely as well. Happy to be here again. ❤😊

Oh wow was so excited to see you do a crafty DD page spread it turned out stunningly, love the pops of gold… hugs from New Zealand
  • I use the journals I make from DD Magazine as my own. They are so full of lovely graphics and photos.
  • Just a tip, if the wonky stitching is getting to you, cover it up with some lace just over the spine, I did that on one of mine, and it worked a treat. Xx
  • Loved the pages, they look so perfect.I always love how you tear edges, I am not very confident at doing that.Looking forward to your next video.❤

Hallo from Germany! Yesterday it was over 40°C here, today 35°C and it is terrible.🥵🥵🥵 But I can already hear thunder,so hopefully it will cool down soon. I could do with 18°C all year around.😅 I very much enjoyed your video, now I got more ideas of what to do with my Daphne's Diarys.❤

I think 34 degrees is hot in any place that doesn't have airco. It's that hot here too and I'm absolutely dying

Love that you are back. I find you to be absolutely lovely and charming. Would you mind sharing the brand of your pick up tool? I have never found one I liked. Thanks!
