The best way to save money is to not buy from restaurants in the first place. Cook at home. Eating out should be a special treat not a daily routine. The point system on these apps are made to incentive more spending so you won't actually save money.

Besides that, they can creep you out by vacuuming up a lot of personal data. Don't get me started on the toxic food. If the food comes through the car window at a drive-through, don't eat it.

Clark rolling up to Starbucks to save $6 and then to get $4 worth of food a effing Costco in a $100k Tesla Model S. What a world we're living in.
  • Probably over the past 5 years..I’ve never ordered fast food or pizza without an app. The Kroger app is great too.

You should NEVER put these apps on your phone! You’re getting a “deal” bc they’re making big bucks on your data. Ask any high level software developer and they’ll tell you not put these apps on your phone! I usually love his advice, but I’m very disappointed in Clark’s suggestion this week.
