‘To Di For’ podcast host Kinsey Schofield says Meghan Markle was criticised during her Nigeria tour for her wardrobe being “culturally inappropriate”.

“She [Nigeria’s first lady] said telling young girls and women we don’t accept nakedness in our culture – that is not beautiful,” Ms Schofield told Sky News host Caroline Di Russo.

“She also stressed they do not want to mimic and try to emulate film stars from America … why did Meghan come here looking for Africa.

“Whether there was resentment towards Meghan there, I’m not sure … but I do think it is an odd coincidence given that Meghan was criticised for her wardrobe being culturally inappropriate throughout that trip.”

  • Please STOP calling Markle a Hollywood Actress. She was never that.

North West’s appearance was cringeworthy, at best. The other kids appeared to be genuinely talented and trained.

Correction: Meghan was not ever a Hollywood actress. . She was filming Suits in Canada. She might have had miniscule seconds in a couple movies...but that does not make her a Hollywood actress.

Harry should be treated equally to other immigrants to the USA, no special treatment.

Sorry, but she turned Lion King into an end of school term performance.

Meghan was so disrespectful to the people of Nigeria.
  • Not an odd coincidence, Megan insulted the Nigerians by wearing a silky blackness sideless dress to a school, that pose of her at the school was revolting .then she continue to wear very revealing clothes, they gave her scarves to cover up but she even took then off after a few minutes, Please let’s not talk about her anymore she makes me feel sick. I love our Royal Family and look forward to seeing Princess Catherine when she feels well and strong.💕
  • Since the first day Megan Markle always wore inappropriate wardrobe. It’s her signature to be awfully dressed.

She has no damn respect for their way of dress. But you cant get through to narcissists, its all about them and no one else.

A backless dress for a”royal” is a no no anyway so why did she do it? A nude colored dress is tacky in a country whose clothes are vividly colorful

Terrible performance. So some genuinely talented kid missed out on the role because of nepotism. It should not be allowed.

Hey Kinsey, that one is not and was not a Hollywood actress. She was a former cable tv actress, and a Z-listed one at that.

Wasn't 'International Studies' one of Meghan Markle's majors? And still she doesn't comprehend how to respect a host country? Guess all she was focused on was more footage for 'The Meghan Show'. Lord knows, even Invictus has fallen victim to that. Nothing like highlighting yourself rather than the heroes the spotlight is intended for.
  • Its no 'coincidence'... the Nigerian First Lady Names Megan Markle, and asks what did she cone for, what is she wanting from Africa?? We can all tell her: Money, Fame, Publicity, pushing her 'I'm Nigerian now', doing the exact same tour she did when she was 'Maltese'!!!!
  • That kid needs singing lessons. There are plenty of kids with real talent, why not use one of them ?
  • @Dominicmiles94
That is the most rubbish performance of Simba Ive ever heard.

"Playing royal" - exactly. He is not a working royal anymore.
