After uploading the Catch 'em All video for Pokemon Legends: Arceus, a lot of you wanted to see how hard it would be to take on the most grind-intensive challenge I know. Today we're going to find out how easily you can complete Professor Oak's Challenge in Pokemon Legends Arceus! This video took a lot of time and effort to put together, so I'd really appreciate it if you shared this with a friend. If you have any suggestions for the next video, leave it in the comments below! Have a great day :)

Thanks for checking out the video! I got approved for Super Thanks if you want to show extra support on the video, but as always I appreciate you all for just watching what I do :) New video later this week! I'm super excited for the new uploads I have planned :)
  • In Pokémon HGSS, you have to get 5 evolutionary stones from random calls, even though you can buy them in the very next section of the game.
  • @rb6837
Man said “Cherubi” like it’s just another Pokémon that isn’t hard to catch at all
  • You can capture Chimchar befor the quest with it being in a tree. It's on the same hill as the second camp. Either NorthEast or Northwest of it.

While playing this game I had so much fun going around catching and battling every Pokémon that when i actually decided to fight the nobles I was about 40 levels over, I also reached the point where all level Pokémon obeyed me before I even fought electrode, so that was fun

Y does everyone neglect my boi oshawott’s existence:(
  • @yaycupcake
You can actually get up on top of the mountains surrounding the lake in the tutorial section (before talking to Mai or getting Wyrdeer). There is one spot you can climb on foot -- it's near Alpha Luxio.
  • @YukiKazeko
6:10 - You surprisingly don't NEED Wyrdeer. With enough perfect angles and rolling, you can get up there.
  • I've actually managed to catch Remorade in the Crimson Mirelands, already. It spawns in the water next to the "hidden"/"obscured" area near the Roselia spawn there. In that area you find a few Ralts, too.

"-a ten-year-old is smarter than him-" John's editor (presumably himself?): inserts the scene where Cylene says you're 15 immediately afterwards Great job everyone
  • Great vid!! Learned a lot watching it. This is a lot more hardcore than I thought it would be. That satchel grind in the fieldlands is absolutely ridiculous sounding. I had no idea they make them progressively spawn in more frequently as you progress - good info to have. Also didn't know you could catch those Qwilfish early, either.

The "What is going on guys" after loading up bdsp almost actually killed me due to laughter

Hope you are feeling better and in a better headspace John! We all need breaks sometimes!
  • @CynamminStyx
I’d say the pre-E4 section for this game should be called the “Pre-apocalypse” section.
  • All you need to get the Darkrai Quest is to have Save Data from BDSP (up to Gym Badge 1~2, which is around the time you unlock Mystery Gift as well)
  • 17:15 Ah yes rhyperior. The ground rock type. Against the grass fighting type. Total cakewalk
  • @ImThylacine
Yes! Another Legends challenge! I've watched the perfect Pokedex challenge SO many times now while grinding for my own perfect dex - I'm about a third of the way there now!
  • @ResearcherOak
I did this in my original run and you and I noticed a couple differences. The first one is that I didn't know you could catch Qwilfish in the Fieldlands, and the second one is that I was struggling to come to terms with the fact that I'd have to beat Arcanine without Magnezone, but it actually spawned! I definitely didn't know about the thunderstone.
  • One thing I always keep as a rule for myself tbh is 'if there's a feed x times one try to do it' as it is an easy 5-10 levels of research for level 10. And after a freak accident that reset all my legends arceus data, I've been doing that for a fair handful of entries, because I would like to get the shiny charm again pretty fast.

Oshawott actually best water starter and one of the best, if not the best starter overall and I won't stand for this kind of slander
