I love how you showed the entire game from late in the 3rd quarter on. Usually a video like this will only show the touchdowns. Seeing everything really helped us relive the tension and the drama of this wild game!

This was my first game ever in person. To be alive at that point in time and celebrate in SF after the game, was just magical. The streets were enchanted. Great day in 2003.

9:57 Joe Buck: “That scoreboard doesn’t look as good to Strahan now” 😂
  • @GetYourBeaks
"Dan Campbell, last seen kicking his helmet...." And now all these years later two owners so far have hired him to be head coach.

“That scoreboard doesn’t look so good to Strahan now”pure gold😂😂
  • @ericcrabtree7404
I was really hoping Owens was going to find Strahan after that incredible comeback and point to the scoreboard.

I was on the road from Sac to Oak listening to the game the whole way, cheering each time the 9ers scored. I had lots of problems to overcome and the 9ers made me believe anything was possible. I’ll never forget that drive.

1:01 LOL @ Strahan pointing at the scoreboard. Thought that was one of the key turning points.
  • Shockey and Toomer are two names I haven't heard in a LOOOOONG time! And Motor City Dan kicking that helmet. 😂😂😂
  • @screamingliner
This channel is a treasure trove. Thanks for all you do!

Miss getting to watch TO dominate. He was like a guarunteed walking 100+ receiving yards.
  • @eugeneweeks3325
Garcia is the most underrated QB in 49er’s history. Dude was really really good.
  • @JP47471
49ers and Giants have always had a low key rivalry in my opinion
  • @dredhead117
man seeing Niner highlights from Candlestick always get me in the feels. Miss it dearly
  • My uncle is a massive giants fan and also superstious. To this day in 2023 he still blames me and my parents for leaving his house early while the game had been going so well for the giants. He swears we messed it up because the comeback started right after we left and he asked us not to haha. we listened to the radio on the drive home laughing but also knowing how insane he would be about it haha. great memories (for me)

i cant believe the lack of discipline on some of these players! one minute left in a playoff game and youre losing your cool. also absolutely love this era of nfl such a golden time!
  • @HealthyMBS1
Gragg was an absolute beast on the O-line on this team. He was an underrated mauler. His work on Strahan in the second half of this game was key to the Niners even having a chance at this comeback
  • @JerryNordstrom
Amazing how much the punting and PAT game has changed..."41 yards and he's at the edge of this distance....".. Today they're like... "56 yards and he's been nailing these all day...."
  • @psychoniner
This was one of my favorite and stressful games as a Niners fan. I had every Giants fan that I know call me at half time like the game was over. I kept saying there is a lot of time left in this game. After the game, my good friend wouldn't even pick up my calls after the crap he was talking. I love to shove this game into giant fans any time I can. Bang Bang Niner Gang! TO was so good.
