Hello everyone! I finally decided to play some rail shooters and record another House of the Dead game. This time it is HotD4, PS3 version. Now that RPCS3 is capable of emulating most of the games that interest me quite well, I don't have to torture my half-dead PS3 to record anything. Thus I have some new entries in my (very) long list of games to make videos of. So, what to expect here... Nothing really unique, to be honest. Just all bosses of the game (including Special) defeated without taking damage and using grenades (well, except Magician, of course but that's only for event scene). Did first two bosses using D-pad only but quickly switched to analog stick after miserably failing against The Empress. So far I can say that it was the hardest HotD game for me to do this challenge. The Star is the hardest boss in the series for me so far. I do plan to record at least Overkill bosses but (as usual) I can't say when I will have time to attemtp this. It is in my more immediate plans, though. Well, that's all. Enjoy!

The Lovers being a giant female spider with a smaller male spider on her back is INCREDIBLE.
  • All bosses hard mode Justice - easy The lovers - normal The empress - hard Temperance - easy The star - insane The world - hard(first round) - insane(second round) Magician - insane (only special ver)

The Star is probably the hardest, the amount of projectiles he throws out can seem overwhelming. The hardest part is when he's doing the tornado move, the duration it takes before he lands a hit on you is very unpredictable, it could be in one revolution or several As far as final boss goes The World has to be the easiest to date, all of it's attacks are telegraphed and easy to counter, depending on how accurate your aim is, it's definitely not on par with The Emperor or Wheel of Fortune

It's pretty cool that the Goldman building came back after HOTD2. I've always found it interesting seeing a place that you've seen or been before in a video game and see what has changed. Like Shadow Moses in MGS4.

Man. This series is a blast. Pity they didn't make a sequel to HoTD: Overkill and how it led to the 1st game. PS: Good shots.

it is a nightmare playing this on our arcades with inaccurate aim, and doubly so if someone plays with you and has no knowledge of the game since a game over won't let you enter the bonus room before the final fight. good memories on this game. actually the first game in shooting arcades that i finished with one token just by watching an advanced player play it live. <3

I know the chainsaw monster/zombie thing was already done in this series, but damn they took this to the next level! At least in the coliseum in HOTD2, you could outmaneuver under the zombie if you were fast enough to realistically. But where the hell would you go in a high-speed moving train?! with two chainsaws?! and a narrow corridor?!

"WEAK SPOT UNKNOWN" Ok, let's pretend we didn't see the beating heart 😏
  • @Khp_Gll
It's curious how from all tarot major arcanas they used to name the bosses in this series, "The Devil" is the only one left they haven't showed yet.
  • I love the voice actors. So lifeless, just like me AND cheesy one-liners? SIGN ME IN
  • @GreaserMan
"I am the ultimate lifeform!" You're made of glass, have an exposed heart and don't even have legs, chucklenuts!
  • @amurilloreno
If anybody still have a problem during The Justice boss fight while it was covering its tongue, just aim and throw grenade directly to its mouth. It'll gulp the grenade and BOOM! Insta-health drop!
  • @shawziiz5031
Lmao that The World boss look like some huge ass cgi monster from Kamen Rider franchise
