They want to offer her $39K but planning on building townhomes that’s going to be worth millions. She is right. That’s an insult to her intelligence. This is so disgusting.

A $39,000 offer to buy land from up under an unsuspecting elderly woman, and then attempting to drown her in legal fees as retaliation should be criminal. This is outright disgusting.
  • @SolanaDevon
$39K?!?! That’s not an offer. That is nothing but an insult. And then to sue her for living on her own land?!? Disgusting! I hope she wins this fight.

Nobody’s come face-to-face to talk to her because they believe they can bully her and steal her land because of the big name and the big money and she’s an old lady. Stand strong grandma!

She's not just fighting for herself. She's fighting for all of us.. God protect this woman, her family, and their land!.

Josephine Wright, Hilton Head native died at 94 on January 7, 2024. 😟 She was a strong woman. Tyler Perry is going to build her a home as he said and give the keys to her family. 👏🏽

Not only is this a centuries-old family homestead, which is bad enough, it’s a billion dollar developer going up against a low income woman who is almost 100 years old. They are wrong on all levels.
  • @melissasaint3283
Let's save this woman! This kind of developer sucks in every way.
  • I love how sharp she is and how she’s standing on business. I pray things work out for her and her family’s land.

“I never back down on anything that was right.” You can tell our old folks were different fasho.
  • @shawndrarush1683
The greed of these corporations is just disgusting. I am so glad she is fighting back.
  • @ATRaine
These companies need to be publicly boycotted. Not only are they trying to drown her in legal fees and be forced to sell, they’re simultaneously running the clock
  • @circular_enigma
This is so infuriating!! The prices they offered, the audacity of the lawsuit and scare tactics, and above all, always gentrifying an area that needs the trees and space. Leave the area and that woman alone

"DON'T BACK DOWN ON ANYTHING THAT IS RIGHT" should be the motto of ALL people, in all times, everywhere, forever.

The fact that they are trying to sue her for something so petty really boils my blood. This land has been in her family for over 150 years! 😠
  • @OOceaneyess
She didn’t make it to 93 years old by being dumb. She’s right to want to preserve land that is rightfully hers. Living there in that peace and beauty may be another reason why she is still with us at 93. What do they want to do, stick her in a townhome? No way! I applaud this woman! The developers need to stop encroaching on her!
  • @kingmono
She looks great for 93. Sounds great too.
  • As a Geechee Charleston woman, I am in your corner. Proud you are fighting and getting support.
