  • Ya know, you make my audible subscription seem pointless.. you narrate these better than 90% of the professionals

The lesson here is that even in the grim darkness of the 41st millennium, never put out on the first date.

This is probably my favorite short story. Bet I've listened to it at least a dozen times since I found it
  • @AnIdiotsLantern
Damn it’s too bad Storm Constantine never wrote much 40k. This was excellent. What a loss she was
  • @Nverdis
A little bit ago, Majorkill explained how "Grimdark" didn't necessarily mean "The most painful, Dark-Eldar like thing you can think of." Here, yes, the Imperium won and yes, a potential danger was overcome. But the main character's love for the psyker had to be sacrificed for the survival of the crew. And that's VERY grimdark
  • Incredible story. As somebody whose still delving into the vast expanse that is warhammer 40k it’s stories like this that teach me so much about the setting and how even tho the setting can be the main focus of storytelling, it’s ability to construct amazing character stories truly is unparalleled in any sci-fi setting. Great narration as always my friend! The Emperor Protects!

A real shame that Chaos corrupted her, they were a cute couple.
  • @TalexTheLich
thank you for giving us a story about chaos AND slaanesh, i feel like theres no audiobooks on chaos itself and im really bad about reading (because you cant really do more then read at one time) so i really appreciate it :> great work as always ^-^

Gotta watch from beginning I wouldn't dare miss a single second of this.
  • Really enjoyed this one, reminds me of the eye of terror book you narrated. I love the stories that give more detail to the more civilian side of imperial societies. The Eisenhorn books do a good job of that as well
  • @somename2072
I really liked this one, I'm not surprised this is an older one.
  • Enjoyed that one very different. I thought they were doomed. Happy ending for a change 😂😂
  • @eichler721
Love that you cover a wide variety of books. Space Marines are epic but books with normal humans are fun also.

Dope! Man you are a beast at hitting the "emotional tone" of these stories... LmaO... Sometimes the tone of your voice queues people into stuff they wouldn't have gotten from just reading the story... That's a talent man!!!
