Neil: I'm sorry, a negative charge.
Chuck: Negative charge, right.

I've been following StarTalk for quite a while now, say about 5-6 years. And considering I have massive respect for Neil deGrasse and he and his knowledge are the main reasons I click on the videos, I have to say Chuck became this major part in this, to the point where I would probably stop watching if Chuck left this chemistry they have created together. Used to think "who is this clown?" many many years ago and sometimes I still have that feeling where I shout at the screen "let Neil speak, you buffoon!", but in the end that is the secret ingredient behind all of this.
So, yeah Chuck, if you read this, you CAN and most likely ARE someone's hero around here, that guy that some people look up to and hope one day they can be YOU. And it's something you deserve to be praised for, I mean you're working with one of the greatest, brightest minds alive, it would be so easy to be overshadowed by Neil and end up "just the buffoon that read the questions", but you're not, you are a smart guy that can keep the pace with Neil while crackin' jokes, and it's impressive. Something I and 99% of us could not manage.

Chuck Nice is one of the most genuinely excited individuals I've ever listened to when learning about physics and he is an absolute delight to listen to working with Neil on StarTalk. Thank you, guys.

graduating this year with a masters of physics, and it really baffles me how much people take maths and physics for granted in their everyday life

This show is so important because even after Chuck giggled at the (in his mind) elementary question of thunder......he still gained a better understanding of something he thought he knew.

its so cool to see how much chuck has learned over the years of doing star talk, he almost answers some of the questions on his own these days, super cool!

This has quickly became my favorite channel. I've binged every episode I believe. Not just cosmic queries but ALL of them.😁
