It really warmed up fast and the crowd grew fast....we left by 11:30 am and had plenty of time to go other places..๐ช๐

Perch are great eating. Here in Maine only about 10 fish are regulated, the rest are considered invasive (except large and smallmouth bass for the sportsters) and you can take all you want. Overlooked resource. I used to catch perch by the bucketful and freeze the fillets. I'd like to experiment with smoking and salting them.
