  • Khalbali is my most favourite song in an album that truly transcends generations. Just yesterday we were dancing around bonfires in our college campus, just yesterday I headed our student committee and we took a staunch stance against institutional caste-based politics in the University and in front of the Municipal Committee. Yesterday was 15 years ago.
  • If Rehman ever deserved an Oscar, this was the soundtrack! Especially Khalbali! Goosebumps even after a decade! Timeless masterpiece

The jukebox of Rang De Basanti isn't just any other jukebox,it is literally a rollercoaster of emotions! The title song makes you feel so happy and festive ,Tu bin bataye makes you feel so much in love,Khun chala literally boils your blood with rage but also makes you choke with tears,Pathshala awakes the naughty teen vibe in you, Roobaroo gives a dreamy feel and finally Lukkachuppi makes you loose control of your tears and all of a sudden our hearts just fills out with love and pain for our Martyrs.. Thanking A.R Rahman Sir and the singers all our lives even won't be enough for creating this album <3

This soundtrack was so ahead of time, if it were to release now, after a decade, it would have given everyone else a run for their money.
