Unry has just released the trailer for their new Unry G1 humanoid robot, and it’s absolutely astonishing. The robot’s flexibility, proficiency, and overall capabilities are exceptional, and I’m here to explain why this robot is a true game-changer. There’s a lot to discuss, and this robot is genuinely revolutionary.

Firstly, you might notice it resembles Boston Dynamics’ recently unveiled Atlas robot. However, it’s unlikely Unry developed this robot in just the three weeks since the Atlas trailer was released; a project like this takes significant time to develop. What’s clear is that Unry is advancing much faster than many anticipated, delivering highly impressive technology at a relatively affordable price. The G1 starts at just $116,000, making it the most cost-effective humanoid robot with such advanced capabilities. One aspect that particularly stood out in the demo is the robot’s extraordinary flexibility and range of motion. The G1 can swivel and move in ways beyond human capability, with legs that have a much wider range of motion. Additionally, Unry has utilized hollow joint technology to internalize the wiring, resulting in more efficient movement and a more compact design. This trailer emphasizes that the race in robotics is accelerating, and Unry’s rapid progress is surprising.

  • Repeating footage over and over is not a very interesting feature...

Is there a specific reason why today's videos always show subtitles in bold block letters with a colored background to aid reading? In addition, the narrator speaks so slowly and clearly, as if this was made for a slow-witted and marginally stupid audience. So either it is intentional to make us lazy or most of us are already so stupid that we need this.
  • You can tell by the math when the narrator sys $150,000 is 10x more than $115,000. If AI ever has money we might be able to trick them into handing it over!

Who do you mean by visionaries? Those combo of business and political elites are basically science fiction and fairy tale makers.
