Back in the day i could rush home and buy the new dlc song then just jump straight in! NO practice! starting on easy, got 5 stars? good! on to normal! 5 stars? GREAT! on to hard! then finally go for gold stars i did the 3 games all gold stars. there were only a few dlc songs i could not get 5 gold stars on it.
