So sad. I lived for many years in Southern California, so earthquakes were always a concern. Thank goodness I never had to survive a real bad earthquake. I cannot imagine the terror involved in a small town that is hit by a tornado. My heart goes to to all of those who have been affected. All of America is thinking of you.

Two confirmed deaths in Holdenville not one. (Which includes a four month old)

Prayers for all affected by the storms. ❤
  • I just cannot understand how anyone can live in an area that has such terrible weather. I'm 68 and NEVER lived in an area with this kind of weather.

May God Bless them all and help them rebuild.

Tis the season. Those winds definitely weren't fun to drive in, though. Glad that i was on the outskirts.
  • I was a little nervous here in Tulsa last night, but faired pretty well. No huge dead tree limbs! Thank you Lord.

Was watching weather radar and live feed of Storm Chasers as it all happened. For anyone that isn't familiar with weather like this or doesn't understand what went on, let me paint you a picture: April 26th and 27th 2024 were SEVERELY WORSE than what the Storm Prediction Center originally forecasted. 26th, Utter Mayhem in Nebraska and Iowa. In Oklahoma, just after dark of the 27th, ALL HELL BROKE LOOSE. And there's still a chance today. With any trend today, I'd be treating this in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and South Missouri like this is Worst case scenario until it's CONFIRMED that it's gone.
  • Holdenville is not near Sulphur. Holdenville is east of OKC and Sulphur is down south.

WHY DO PEOPLE GO OUT AND DRIVE DURING AN OUTBREAK OF TORNADOES? (I’m not referring to storm chasers whose job it is to scout the storms.)
  • Prayers for all! This is tragic. 😢 Tornados scare the hell out of me ! So many states affected.
