If the Dark Knight was just as strong as Spider-Man, could he curb the threat of Devil’s Breath and stop the forces of Mr. Negative and Doctor Octopus?

Could Spider-Man Survive Arkham Knight?:    • What If PS4 Spider-Man Was In Arkham ...

Batman: Arkham is a series of action-adventure video games based on the DC Comics character Batman, developed by Rocksteady Studios and WB Games Montréal, and published originally by Eidos Interactive and currently by Warner Bros. Games. The franchise consists of four main installments and an upcoming spin-off, along with four smaller titles for mobile devices, a virtual reality game, tie-in comic books, and an animated film. The continuity established by the games is often referred to as the Arkhamverse.

Eidos had obtained the rights to make a Batman game from Warner Bros. in early 2007 and approached Rocksteady. The first two games in the series, Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, were written by veteran Batman writer Paul Dini and featured voice actors Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprising their roles as Batman and the Joker, respectively, from the DC Animated Universe (DCAU). Conroy and Hamill returned to voice their characters in the fourth main installment of the series, Batman: Arkham Knight. Additional voice actors who reprised their characters from the DCAU include Arleen Sorkin as Harley Quinn in Batman: Arkham Asylum and Robert Costanzo and CCH Pounder as Harvey Bullock and Amanda Waller in Batman: Arkham Origins, respectively.

The main games in the Batman: Arkham series have been met with commercial success and critical acclaim, with praise for their narratives, voice acting, world design, graphics, and gameplay. The games have collectively sold more than 30 million copies worldwide.

Batman: Arkham Knight is the sequel to Arkham City and the biggest installment in the series. Intended to be the final Batman: Arkham game, it was developed once again by Rocksteady, and released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows on June 23, 2015. Set nine months after the events of Arkham City, the game sees the return of the villain Scarecrow, who forces a citywide evacuation in Gotham and unites several of Batman's greatest villains in an attempt to destroy the Dark Knight once and for all. Scarecrow is aided by the mysterious Arkham Knight, who has a personal vendetta against Batman and seems to know all of his secrets. Although aided by several allies, Batman's quest to stop the villains is hindered by the Joker, who, despite his death in Arkham City, lives on as a hallucination in Batman's mind and is slowly taking over his body. Arkham Knight is set in Uptown Gotham, which is located west of City and Origins' Old and New Gotham, and comprises three main islands: Bleake Island, Miagani Island, and Founders' Island. Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill reprise their roles as Batman and the Joker, respectively.

DLC released for the game includes four side missions centered around the villains Killer Croc, Ra's al Ghul, Mr. Freeze, and Mad Hatter; short story-driven missions set both before and after the main story, focusing on characters other than Batman, such as Batgirl, Red Hood, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Robin, and Catwoman; additional challenge maps; and skins for both the playable characters and the Batmobile (which makes its debut in the series as a driveable vehicle).

Marvel's Spider-Man is a 2018 action-adventure game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Based on the Marvel Comics character Spider-Man, it tells an original narrative that is inspired by the long-running comic book mythology, while also drawing from various adaptations in other media. In the main story, the super-human crime lord Mister Negative orchestrates a plot to seize control of New York City's criminal underworld. When Mister Negative threatens to release a deadly virus, Spider-Man must confront him and protect the city while dealing with the personal problems of his civilian persona, Peter Parker.

Gameplay is presented from the third-person perspective with a primary focus on Spider-Man's traversal and combat abilities. Spider-Man can freely move around New York City, interacting with characters, undertaking missions, and unlocking new gadgets and suits by progressing through the main story or completing tasks. Outside the story, the player is able to complete side missions to unlock additional content and collectible items. Combat focuses on chaining attacks together and using the environment and webs to incapacitate numerous foes while avoiding damage.

Spider-Man was chosen both for his appeal to the employees and the similarities in traversal gameplay to their previous game Sunset Overdrive (2014).

NOTE: If Batman wasn't amped to Peter's level, he would die in any encounter with any Sinister Six member. As explained in my prior video, PS4 Spider-Man and anyone who scales to him are SEVENTY-FIVE times stronger than Arkham Batman's canon durability ( https://youtu.be/CrgLNjJvyvk?t=463 ). Arkham Batman is not main comic Batman, he doesn't have prep feats against super humans who are stronger than him by nearly 100 fold; not even the strongest Arkham villains are at that level. This video explores how Batman with his different resources and methods would solve the Devil's Breath incident, a sensitive operation which isn't strictly punching people. It becomes a much more involved detective story as an example. If you want a video where Batman is 75 times weaker than every villain he'd eventually have to fight, that's addressed in this video as well: he'd die. "We'll simply be granting the Dark Knight the strength and speed of Insomniac's Spider-Man." Uhhh, then yes.
  • @Timgoesgym
Arkham Batman is beyond human. People forget that he defeated his entire rogues gallery, saved the city and allies, in ONE night.
  • @BlazerK1914
Silver Sable: "Damn you!" Arkham Batman: "Stand down now!"

Even if the evidence was obtained illegally as long as the police didn't obtain it illegally it's allowed to be used in court. So hypothetically, Norman can go to prison.

The issue is that Arkham Batman is way too resourceful and fast at deducing things to get into half of the situations that spidey got into. I genuinely think he would be the one to surprise each of them individually. Heck, Batman managed to go through almost 20 different cases within one night. And one-shot many different superpowered characters
  • If you give him the strength of Spiderman ps4 then obviously yes? I thought the point was to see if batman with his strengths would be able to go through the events of Spiderman ps4 and deduce how to defeat all of the villains
  • I don't think the sinister six would kill/capture batman, because with his level of intelect and experience he would realise the rikers breakout is a trap. Also I think if the sinister six were his villains, having allready encountered them, he would have a way to neutralise them
  • @sheeeeesh3628
Why are people arguing for Batman can't beat all the Sinister Six at once? Like, no shit. Spider-Man couldn't either. 🤣
  • @theSageofFire
Can see both characters getting vastly better feats in the future, so it was a really smart idea to equalize them before their whole verses get upscaled
  • @jashthemad5
Giving him spidermans powers and relations completely negates the reason of the scenario
  • But wait a minute, if we are working under the assumption that Batman has always operated in New York in the same time frame as Spider-Man has in the game, then can we also assume that Batman has gone up against members of the sinister six individually? If so, couldn’t we then gander just by knowing who Bruce is that he’d be able to plan for such an attack or strategize a way out of or around it prior?
  • @-AaronBlack-
As much as I love Batman, if the full sinister 6 jumped him he would be overwhelmed. Granted he would be too smart to end up in that situation on top of the fact that he would’ve most likely picked them apart 1 by 1 with prep I’m not sure what bruce could do to stop mr.negative, doc ock, or electro from a random head on encounter like Peter does. If bruce were to plan of course he can take out any of them but honestly spider-man’s rouges are in a whole different league. The only rouges Batman could go head to head with physically are taskmaster, vulture, kingpin & hammer head (before the exo Skelton upgrade). I am not calling Batman weak by any stretch of the imagination by saying he physically can’t keep up with the rest of the rouges but they are truly in a different weight class. Bane, killer croc, joker amped on venom, Solomon Grundy are all powerful villains who tested Bruce’s physicality but even Batman’s strongest villains throughout his career don’t come close to Spider-Man’s during his 1st game not to mention versatility as well. Bruce would do great if he had prowler, miles, silver sable & other Allies but he would not be able to successfully single handily defend New York
  • @majora919
i honestly think both could clear each other's game fairly effectively. the only questionable part is if spiderman has the mental fortitude to do what batman did in that last mission of arkham knight
  • @choibandrangx
He can. Half of those guys use tech as their power, nothing like a good EMP to beat them down.
  • I feel that you should have made Batman upgrade his suit and tools instead of giving him Spidey's strength and speed. That would have been a more in-character way to match the power escale between Batman and the Sinister Six members (he would probably still get beaten if they all attacked at the same time) and also way more interesting in my opinion.
  • @TheMrChipmyster
I think Otto would be a lot less prone to violent outbursts and reckless abandon with someone like Bruce backing him. A lot of the stress he accumulated was due to money issues and Osborn promptly taking his work for him. With someone as rich as Bruce funding it not only would he have the money needed but Osborn wouldn’t be able to legally take it either.
  • People always forgets that Batman's greatest asset is his contacts and his research. He aint stupid enough to go head on with anyone he knows he is outmatched. He'll just wait or call up the league or some magical force for help. If jumped he is done for, but with enough time he can match with almost anyone. That's his strength as a human, his connections with others.
  • @marvin.a.flores
Let me tell you, if Batman had plans pre made to defeat his own friends in the justice league and has defeated Superman numerous times, yes he will survive
  • @kamvex1788
Have to disagree with the DLC overview. While Part One and most of Part Two would likely be the same, earlier imprisonment of Li means that Sable would be just arriving by the time he's in custody. Shed be able to just go home immediately. That means no Sable tech for the mafia and no cyborg parts for Hammerhead. Though yeah, if this is base Batman and he ends up against the Sinister Six, probably after pulling Doc's funding due to the danger he poses, he's getting fried on the roof of the RAFT
