Bass Reeves was one of the most formidable lawmen in the American West, a legendary figure and US Deputy Marshall in the notoriously lawless Indian territory of the old west in what is now Oklahoma. Standing at over six feet tall and possessing an imposing figure, he was a master of disguise and an expert marksman, skills that helped him capture more than 3,000 criminals during his 32-year career without sustaining any gunshot wounds, though the hat on his head wasn’t so lucky.
Born into slavery in 1838, Reeves escaped during the Civil War and lived among Native American tribes in the Indian Territory, where he mastered several tribal languages and became proficient with firearms. After the war, Reeves was appointed as a deputy U.S. Marshal by Judge Isaac Parker, known as the "Hanging Judge," due to his stringent enforcement of law in the Indian Territory, an area that is now part of Oklahoma.
His success was due in part to his exceptional skills, strategic intelligence, and dedication to justice. His methods included adopting various guises and often going deep undercover to infiltrate gangs and bring outlaws to justice.
Among his notable feats was the capture of his own son for murder, a testament to his unwavering commitment to the law and justice, regardless of personal ties. Bass Reeves' legacy is also marked by his strict code of honor and integrity; he was known for his fairness and a deep sense of duty, which earned him respect from both lawmen and outlaws alike.

Nice! That's what I asked, if American Badass replaced Badass. Sounds like another good one! I do run across a Kirby every now and then, and they always get into the couple hundred dollar range, at least. I just missed out on a travel set that had a Kirby razor head and another French razor company handle. Just like getting a Gibbs, most of the time it's coming from overseas and you're never 100% what you're going to get. Take care!
