Lmao i feel like thats one thing me and hextian have in common. We both grew up in folklore catered areas, but not to far from home. Long story short i grew up hearing of leshies and swamp creatures crawling in my windows to get me if i stayed up late.

Here’s the story I came up with for the doll: This mananangal would transform into a normal woman to target certain people for food, until one day she meets a kind, handsome man during her hunt. She fell for him and they became close, while she kept her true nature secret from him. Eventually they became a couple and got married. However, on the night of their wedding, the groom discovered his bride feasting on the body of a pregnant guest in secret. Overcome with heartbreak and guilt, the mananangal knew that he could no longer love her and feasted on him right there and then. She then proceeded to attack the rest of the people at the wedding and flew into the night. (To those who are wondering about the part where she transforms into a human, I heard that was another trait that mananangals had. IDK if it’s true, though. Anyway, sorry if my grammar was bad.)
