13 year old me walked into gamestop with the little bit of pocket money I had saved up, didn't have any particular game in mind. After watching me look around for probably 30 minutes a guy who worked there named joey came over and asked did I need any help, I told him I wanted a new game but couldn't decide, he asked had I ever played assasins creed, I hadn't, and I had never heard of it at the time. He grabbed the box for assasins creed 2 off the shelf and handed it to me and said "this is the game you want". The game had only come out a few days before. I bought the game, got home and fell in love with it, to this day it's in my top 3 games ever, thanks joey.

This soundtrack is basically the soundtrack of the golden era of gaming. This soundtrack embodies my favorite years in gaming.

After 10 years of talking about it, my brother and I finally made our pilgrimage to Florence. We played this theme when we saw the Firenze road sign, then when we went to the Palace of the Medici Lords and of course, again atop the Duomo's Bell Tower. We did a detour into Monterriggioni. I played the game, I fell in love with it, a spark of hope was found in me. The next morning I told my uncle that I madly loved the game and he said: welcome to the Brotherhood!

At the end of ezio trilogy, I sat down and cried for hours. Because he is the best assassin who ever lived. Ezio taught us patience. I think Ubisoft will never make a game like this, again.

I love how this theme was so good that it basically became the theme for the entire franchise. And it works, because the Assassins are indeed Ezio’s family.
