The one who nailed it was Bottas, directly going to inters. That’s why he finished P11 from P15

George Russell: "The rain just fully turned in on me there was nothing I could do"

07:28 GP's work here is pure gold. Under such circumstance, your driver is understandably under immense pressure. He calmed Max down and gave him a very clear instruction.

8:51 "get back in your rhythm", proceeds to bounce off the walls like a pinball 😅
  • @kento6201
Bottas really made a perfect call there. His instinct is 💯

Max and GP are just something else!! Clarity, decisiveness, perfection. they are almost telepathic they were completely in sync. They should have a masterclass on how to deal with pressure,

Red bull dominates because they are the kings of data. They are always listening to Max and Checo about how the car and track feel. They combine that with data they see and from what they hear from other teams. Then they just break it down to Max over radio and let him choose what to do. The second he gets a little panicked they calm him down, let him know he is still way ahead and to just keep fighting it. A real masterclass in terms of how to handle information and how to use what you have to make the best guess.

Russel asking for a safetycar is just so Russel

At 10:17, i am amazed that Kevin was able to drive that car on old hards, in monaco, in the wet, and look at the screen to see that sainz went off. Very impressive

Max is a pure beast. How he controlled that car on old mediums in the wet for so long was something else. So many times the car started to get away and he always pulled it right back.

08:00 "Difficult to say!" It's easy to say Ferrari are on the back foot regarding strategy calls.

7:45 I don’t think Alonso 10 years ago would have been so calm with his team’s decision

Poor Lando. must have had Sochi flashbacks 😭😂
  • @mitchellman32
This video was unreal to see the full perspectives of each of the teams. Great work

9:18 I do understeand K-Mag tho, last year every grand prix got red flagged when it rained to heavily, drivers have got used to this, but they should let them go in the rain, in my opinion the only moment to call a safety car or a red flag is when drivers can't go full throttle on the straight because of the amount of water

Amazed Max didn't crash. He pushed those mediums almost 50 laps. Insane. Just amazing how he was able to control the car for those laps when he got bad.

What a huge difference in communication between driver and race engineer. Bottas, Verstappen, Ocon, etc were very clear in both directions. Ferrari again very indecisive as well as some others and that reflects in the final results.

This race was so frustrating yet so beautiful at the same time. Throw in a bit of slippery conditions and watch the race light up with excitement! I am honestly so impressed with the whole field because I thought for sure that we'd have a VSC or a SC at one or more points during the race. The fact some drivers stayed out so long on dry tires, even though a third of the lap was wet, was mind-boggling. Hats off to Monaco 2023!

I love how Red Bull trusted Max’s instincts and took his word on the conditions. GP was so precise and informative to keep Max calm.

This is so well put together, Bravo Social Media team!
