Through perseverance, innovation, and skill, you dedicated your life to this mission and realized your life goal of joining the ranks of the elite four. Then, a seared, grouchy bird humiliated your entire team in 5 seconds, proving all the haters right.

Poor staraptor, kept stranded in hail until its skin repeatedly tore just to be fed bitter medicines to keep carrying on until its hatred maxed out for the trainer who had raised it all so it could be set on fire and kept with a body covered in burns in order to create the perfect weapon

I really love the fact they went hard with the competitive teams for the gym leaders and League. normal players won't notice it much because they just have to over level a bit harder, but for content creators who don't allow that, it requires some serious work to get around.

I find it really interesting how so much of the strategy revolves around manipulating the AI so that you can switch to the pokemon you want without taking a bunch of damage. Like 90% of the strategy is figuring out a problem that you don't even have in switch mode. It just shows how much set/switch matters.
