Lenny Kravitz takes us on a tour of his incredible Brazilian farm compound. Built on an 18th-century coffee plantation, his home is set on a working farm that feeds every guest that comes through. Featuring a Brazilian barbecue, a full-sized football field and 19th-century Portuguese colonial-style farmhouses and outbuildings, it's a wonder Lenny ever wants to leave home.

He wasn't lying when he said he wanted to get away

This house and scenery beats any Hollywood home in my opinion.
  • He’s almost 60 here! Just goes to show how eating well and taking care of yourself pays off! He looks amazing! And what beautiful property he has 😍😍😍 it’s like a dream!

I'm Brazilian and I was very happy to know that he has a farm here. I love people who value our culture.

I love it. Slavery in Brazil only ended 132 years ago. This farm was clearly a Portuguese farm, where African slaves were tortured, since the description says that it was built in the 18th century and on a coffee plantation (where slaves worked in Brazil). And now, a black man owns it.

Lenny is really laid-back. I spoke to him at a concert in LA. I told him I'd met and talked to his mom, Roxy, several times. He smiled and asked where I'd met her. I told him at an all night book/magazine stand on Robertson and Pico. His smile got brighter and he shook my hand and said, " you definitely met her because she loved that book stand." Roxy was beautiful and sweet so it was passed on to Lenny. R.I.P. Roxy ⚘️📺. You will live on through Lenny 🎵🎬🎶

Me in 2001: “what a rockstar, he can’t get any cooler than that” Lenny on a horse in 2019: “Welcome to my fazenda”
  • "I got portraits of my family all over my house because i love the soul in their eyes..... " This man knows what love is....

The respect he shows for everything and everyone is my favorite part of his design aesthetic. He’s golden

My fav moment : when he goes to hug the cooks and you can tell the affection is not fake at all and mutual
  • This is the kind of place I aspire to have. Maybe not as opulent, but to live away from civilization a bit, have land enough to grow my own food and have some animals as well as plant extensive gardens and make it a really spiritual and peaceful place. I don't know much of his music, only a few songs, but very much admire Lenny for choosing to live this way!
  • Lenny seems like a definite one of a kind. You see how he treats everyone at his ranch. A hug or a pat on the back. Most of all he looks them in the eye and expresses what value they bring to him and his world. Definitely an incredible human being….

Everyone : he cannot possibly be more cool. Lenny on a horse: welcome to my fazenda

I like how he said “this is my life” instead of “this is my home”. His home is his life... an amazing mindset.

I love how Lenny Kravitz honors his family and heritage with this space. Such a lovely home. I feel like I would enjoy spending long periods of time there.
