I'm as impressed with Ana V's patience and way of teaching as with her amazing playing. She builds her students up and is very gentle in encouraging them to improve their techniques. So good!

Its never too slow, thats so true, and using a metronome is a must. Also trying other styles, if you only focus on classical music you may be loosing tips and hints that may help you develop your classical technique better. At least thats how I see it.

I am interested to know if players such as Ana do the basic maintenance of their instruments such as string changes, nut and saddle adjustments. If she was on an overseas trip and something needed to be done how would she handle that. Thank you.

Estudié con Manuel Gayol, luego con Leonardo Egurbida y me botaron del Instituto por llegar sudado,no pude ir donde Andrés Segovia,me retiré entonces a los 17 años en 1974,? porqué Andrés es tan estricto con sus estudiantes,el compositor mismo toca cambiado cada vez que toca según su estado de ánimo?, está loco Andrés. ICR, San Juan, Puerto Rico 🇵🇷🇺🇸

Boy I a sick and tired of the current state of the classical guitar being dominated by beautiful young women---I am just an ordinary older man---hard to get gigs when I am competing against beautiful young women. What happened to the time when the classical guitar was dominated by stuffy opinionated older men? What chance do I have not only are these women beautiful but they play great as well.
