A Vlog Every Day in August - is that even possible | Getting on the SSSVEDA train | Pillow Talk

Published 2017-08-02
► So, I've decided to get on the Savvy, Sexy Social A Vlog Every Day in August train, hoping it will help me take the step from how to make a video to how to make a video and get it out there quickly. The first topic was: Introduce yourself and something funny about you, and here's the result.

I tried filming with the camera in a goose neck mount, but for some reason it looks like I'm on a ship and everything's moving with the waves. And I'm still having problems with the audio sync which annoys me something fierce. Still - there is visible progress and I that is good enough for me right now.

► ABOUT ME: On Sundays I vlog in Swedish. All other uploads are in English. I'm a fat, 50-something, queer, feminist spoonie grandmother learning to YouTube from the safety of my bed. That's where I spend 95% of my time because of a crappy immune system and chronic illness. I started this channel for three reasons: to learn how to make videos and be myself on camera; to talk about things that are important to me: and to leave a visual legacy for my family.

► LET'S TALK about this video or something else, Just know that due to my illness, I am not always able to respond right away. Leave a message in the comments below, email me an [email protected] or look me up on:

► MONEY is something we all need, yet are not supposed to talk to. My amazon links above are affiliate links, which means that I might get a gift card as a reward from Amazon once a few thousand people have bought the products. That is obviously not going to happen, but I choose to add the links as I personally appreciate it when a video description includes links to the products used or mentioned so I can look them up for myself.

Welcome to YouTube!!!! Keep uploading videos and you'll learn along the way. I have some disabilities, but am able to walk with a cane (most of the time). YouTube has helped me a lot and there are some wonderful people on here to connect with.

  • Wow, you are going through a lot of stuff. I wish you all the best. good that you are keeping interested and passionate about the world. VEDA is such a great way to learn to make youtube videos. I know I'm learning a lot right now. I think traveling is the best. Definitely got the travel bug. Interesting first video. #SSSVEDA onward.

Really enjoyed this. It shows great desire from someone who should be hindered by life but has decided that you shouldn't settle for second best. Very honest and that is what is great about it. I look forward to the rest of your SSSVEDA videos.

Any other SSSVEDA peeps out there? Or anyone still not sure whether to brave it? Come say hello! =)
  • I love how candid this video is. Consider me subscribed! Except, I don't believe you when you say 'you don't know how to youtube,' things are looking pretty good so far. 👍
