Usually Al and Jo are helping brides mentally and emotionally, but in this episode, the bride helped Al to be confident enough to get surgery to help her live a longer and healthier life. đź’—

This is my absolute favorite '....dress' show. Al and Jo aren't just hosts. They're caring, encouraging, and bring confidence to curvy brides. Bless Al's heart. I hope she's having great success, and is living her best life.
  • All the best to you, Al. No one should say it’s the easy way out because this surgery involves a lot of hard work on your part. We are all so proud of you!!!
  • I’m so proud of you, Al. You are a beautiful warrior and deserve to live a lifetime of happiness. ❤❤❤
  • I love that Al tells her she is allowed her happy ever after. That is so sweet.
  • I'm having weightloss surgery in December. I totally get worrying about it being the right decision. This was exactly the video I needed to see today. Congratulations AL.

Oh Al, you broke my heart, I'm so proud of you, you both have done so much for so many brides. That bride is amazing.

I’ve only seen this show through clips and I pray her surgery went well And she is safe and healthy
  • It took courage to make this decision.... and it took courage to share it with the world. I love you both so much! When I'm feeling down I go back and watch some of the shows I've seen... and the inspiration you both give to your brides makes me feel better. I've been married for 44 years and won't ever need a wedding dress again! So proud of you and wishing nothing but warm thoughts, prayers for a speedy recovery and love! ♥

Honestly the fact that you're so back and forth shows you are ready, because you're considering every angle just like you should on a big decision, you are ready, you're doing it for the right reasons. You'll be great.

  • Well done Al. I’m 3 years post weightloss surgery, and I have no regrets, even on the hard days

I love Al. She's talked about surgery many times. I'm really happy for her, because she had health problems. This bride was the messenger. Blessings for Al, and the lovely bride who inspired her.

Such a sensitive topic to share publicly, Al shared the thinking, the struggle to make a decision and the patience to really understand the consequences before going ahead. Well done for having the courage to do what was right for you Al. đź’Ş
  • They are all such great women. Beautiful, respectful, heartfelt, sensitive, sensible and empathetic. They are gorgeous - and its never ABOUT THE DRESS - its about the person in the dress and their esteem. Love them.
