4:20 - While the slide shown isn't what we intended, it still makes our point. We're still at the 16 core mark and basically nothing has changed spec-wise with Ryzen 9000 since Ryzen 7000.

There is something wildly amusing about seeing Linus navigate the world as if hes hosting a wildlife documentary

“Just like I predicted”. Man took his Chief Vision Officer role to a whole new level.

Intel's complacency years back gave AMD an edge. Just hoping AMD doesn’t get complacent now. The tech world definitely needs constant innovation and better solutions, especially for budget users.

Bro flew to Taiwan to play tennis with a very distant friend. Heard the conversation from one of your podcasts.
  • You know, props to Linus and the shooter for making what's basically the most cinematographically interesting info-dump I've ever watched. The shot variety and the transitions made everything really engaging, that pull-up gag was great lmao.

7:53 Thats not always true, especially as core counts get bigger and bigger. As core count increases, so too does the required communication between them. Coordinating 192 cores is more difficult than coordinating 96 cores, so the fact they've managed to continue increasing the core counts like they have is amazing

It feels surreal the block you're filming is like 30 mins walk from my place

X3D has been incredible. Can't wait for 9000X3D launch

Finally I can change two letters in my i9900k to a ryzen 9900x
  • I've noticed that Linus is using the one plus watch, is there a review on the channel that I missed
  • @Ryu_R.
I love the walk and talk style this has got going for it, awesome job LTT! (News was good to hear too ofc) :)

Seeing Linus roaming in Taipei streets and parks is a weird but positive feeling for me being a Taiwanese. Hope you had a good time here anyway!
  • @HinanawiTenko
I'm surprised you just brushed by the unprecedented support for a previous socket as even that support graph shows there may be more for those still on AM4
  • @matti...
Really liked the direction this video took! It felt authentic to the LTT videos of old (instead of the big IMPACT LETTERS in some other videos) and was well-paced and well-shot to where it held me the entire time
  • @LeGoooze
If Intel doesn't step up in the CPU game I do hope Snapdragon gets threatening enough for AMD to try harder and avoid stagnation.
  • @shao1423
Thanks for the tour around Taipei.

What I really found interesting was the end card hit where he says "yah, go watch the video I did last time" and comparing the two, it's night and day. Sure, the production quality of this one is higher, with all the dynamic shots and multiple camera set up, but the content, the script, the information presented to the viewer and the straightforwardness of it all is so much better and interesting in the older one. Hell, even the transitions and segues are so much more seamless.
