The reason for anything iron copper or metal of any form hasn't been found seems likely that they were melted down and re used long ago

The Egyptians created a method of casting that is still in use today, it was called the lost wax method. IMOP this vase was cast, that would explain the handles and the hollowed-out center. I once worked as a foundry Engineer and delt/designed these types of molds. Chris seems like an intelligent guy and me being an engineer can relate to his shop lingo and references, but I am somewhat taken a back he doesn't mention this being cast. That's exactly how that form would be made today. Joe asked the perfect question! How was it hallowed out? Chris dodged the question.......the answer was it was cast.

I mean just look at traditional japanese woodcarving and wood jointing. If we found these things intact from 2000 years ago without knowing of japan we would also think it was not possible

Joe was kinda ape like here speaking on pottery. I’m an idiot and even I know You can easily turn pottery in a perfect circle then add the handles after.
