How on earth do you call being asked questions and giving nonsensical, false or just outright incoherent answers—with utterly no pushback or follow-up from the press—a “press conference”??

If this helicopter incident happened, the FAA would have had to been notified and investigated what happened. There would ABSOLUTELY be a paper trail from this. If the FAA doesn't have records of this, it didn't happen.
  • the math favors him? He lost by 3 million in 2016 and 7 million in 2020 and he's done a million crazy things since then so how is that good math for him?

I'm just disgusted, even Maggie Haberman is giving the insurrectionist conman a pass. I guess having access is more important than holding a person to the truth.

He has records??… why do I get the feeling that we’re all gonna see a child’s interpretation of a helicopter drawn with a sharpie ?

Like a true narcissist, he cant admit he was wrong. And he will try to bend reality to "prove" it.

If there is an emergency landing with a helicopter, there should be a report with the FAA.

The media absolutely failed yesterday. Once again they let this psychopath lie for over an hour with no pushback
  • @robtgoldstein
“This constant lying is not aimed at making the people believe a lie, but at ensuring that no one believes anything anymore. A people that can no longer distinguish between truth and lies cannot distinguish between right and wrong. And such a people, deprived of the power to think and judge, is, without knowing and willing it, completely subjected to the rule of lies. With such a people, you can do whatever you want.” —Hannah Arendt, German historian and philosopher (1906–1975)
  • We will see the records just like we saw his healthcare plan. In two weeks.

He survived bone spurs, a helicopter crash and an ear piercing. A true American hero.

I like how Maggie talks about that press conference and at no point mentions that almost nothing Trump said was true. Exactly what Lawrence was saying.

How Ms. Haberman can say with a straight face that Donald Trump would be more successful and should run his campaign by leaning on his record, presumably his disastrous tenure in the White House, is beyond my capacity to comprehend!
  • @SuperWilkat
He went to Montana to make himself feel better. Period.
  • He took questions but did not answer them. What record did he have, he cut takes for billionaires, quit giving him a pass.
  • Who gives a CRAP about the media. Harris is busy talking to the people WHO MATTER the people who are going to VOTE her in.
