  • I believe as of July 1, 2021, Wyoming became a β€œconstitutional carry” state, where any legal resident who is 21 years or older, and may lawfully possess a firearm, may carry it concealed without a permit
  • Number 1 thing for me might be healthcare. If you have any health issues, you want to be near places that can treat all your needs. If you have to commute 3 hours in a winter storm to get there, that is a BIG thing.
  • I love Wyoming. It was our vacation spot for me and my late husband. We retired in Buffalo, because we love God's great outdoors and camping. Now widowed, I am back in Wisconsin. My dream of living in Wyoming, began when I was 12 years old. I love horses 🐎, cows πŸ„, plus farming, and ranching. Beautiful scenery and climate. Winter not as bad as Wisconsin. Days not as sunny as Wyoming. Over the years, we have made many friends. God is good. πŸ€ πŸŽ‰

I went to a Wyoming welcome station several years ago and mentioned to the lady working there that Wyoming is so beautiful and was surprised more people don't live here. She replied that many people do move here but after experiencing the harsh winters, they usually move away.

Born and raised in Texas, but for the last thirty years I've wanted to move to Wyoming !! Retired about two years ago and started looking for places to live in Wyoming. I was about to give up and stay in Texas due to the high prices of real estate there until I watched your video. I am now encouraged by the information presented here and plan to continue my search for the perfect Wyoming home.

We visited Sheridan for a week prior to the pandemic. My wife and I locked in employment with State/Fed Govt and were on our way to getting out of AZ. Our entire time there we had no luck finding a home for rent. We tried all surrounding areas of Sheridan. We left having to turn down employment opportunities and are eager to try again. We both loved the small town vibe.

Wyoming only has two seasons... Winter and road construction.
  • I hope no one moves to Wyoming. Wyoming is beautiful, unique, special. Don't change anything. Don't make it Like Bosie, Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, Colorado, or Oregon.... A California suburb.

Loved your video. My mom grew up in southern Wyoming. I spent my childhood going north to the Snowies -still one of my favorite places. Raised in Texas but introduced my husband and kids to Wyoming and they fell in love particularly the Greater Yellowstone area. I wish it wasn't so far!

As a native of Wyoming, a true view of Wyoming was NOT given. 98 degrees for the entire July and August in 2022. 40 BELOW ZERO FOR 2022-23 WIND blows 70 percent of the time over 30 mph. INTRRSTATE 80 was CLOSED more than open 2022-23.
  • Another great, no nonsense pro & con video. Seems like this year has definitely been a tough year for snow.
  • In much of the state, Medical care and especially quality emergency medical care can be hard to find and very expensive. Most of us go to Utah, Montana, or Colorado for specialists. During the winter (November through April) the roads be closed at anytime. Interstate 80 is constantly closed during the winter so don't plan to go very far. Also, in the winter the roads are not well maintained and you know you have crossed the border into Utah or Colorado when the road suddenly is clear of snow and black ice, and safe. I have seen it snow in every month of the year and even seen the interstate closed in June and September because of blizzards. Even though we have a regional airport, the fares are so prohibitively expensive that most of us fly out of SLC or DIA. Again, many of us shop in Utah, Montana, or Wyoming as our choices are very limited. We don't have many of the 'big city' problems and the schools are well funded and teachers are appreciated. There is only one university, but there are many affordable community colleges. Wyoming is sure a beautiful place to live.

Good breakdown and sales pitch for moving here, and I love it here and our only regret is didn't move here sooner. You didn't mention Gillette, but this is a great community and haven't met a bad person yet since moving here. Kids ride their bikes around the neighborhoods without a worry, people walk around never worried about being accosted, and many things are close to how nice, friendly, and peaceful most of the country was 50 years ago where you didn't have to worry about thugs all the time like now in most of this country. There are many things I haven't yet done here, but I have plenty of time left to be able to get out there and enjoy. Besides, the winters aren't really all that bad for me, I have lived in northern Wisconsin and Colorado as well as worked in North Dakota and they are all snowier than here as well as WI and ND being far far colder.

I’ve been to wyoming several times and your review is spot on. Great job and thank you
  • @Frank-ve4kh
WY is one of my favorite states when I ride my MC around the area. Great video, if I was younger I would make sure this move
  • I absolutely love your videos!!!! Not boring!!! We are thinking of moving to Wyoming from Florida! So sick of the humidity.
  • Last time I was in Wyoming my family stayed in a log cabin for two weeks. During a church service which was in an outdoor church it lightly snowed and a deer walked up during the service. Spiritual! Incidentally I was in the second grade, we were near Yellowstone and it was 1968. I never forgot it. Would love to go back again.
  • @popacap21
Grew up in Florida.. ill never go back.. i live in TN but im considering UT or WY.. I love the open spaces and big mountains.. close to amazing slopes for snowboarding.. all the east coast is so population dense its mentally draining
  • Love the video! Great job. Someone who actually tells the truth about us.
