You can be fast too, if you're above the houses and "jump" over them with L2/R2 and X - you should unlock the ability to jump further.

web of shadows does the swing better faster and i like the small fast swings take a bit of skill but is satisfying

This is a thing the developers put in so you didn't suddenly hit cars or the ground to stop your flow entirely. Instead of continuing with the usual pendulum motion of the swing and hitting the cars, your position is shifted and the animations change accordingly. They probably noticed it could be a common mistake, so they just added that as a quick fix

this is not a glitch, this is a mechanic the developers put in so you don't slam in the ground if you swing too low

Marvels Spiderman 2 needs to increase the swinging speed by a good bit....because speed is crucial on a Spiderman game...especially on his swinging

obviously letting go in the middle of a pendulum arch makes you go faster than waiting out the webswing to reach its height-peak which basically makes you jump straight up. i reallt annoys me when i see players web-swing like that.

or just press and hold r2 for 1 sec then press X to jump really close to the ground and then press r2 again for 1 sec then releae and keep pressing r2 dont hold r2 more than 1 sec otherways spider-man will go higher as it supoosed to be and you will fail the trick i walready mastered it use it only when you need to travel to along destination

Loved this game but I have to say man the lack of speed in the web swinging is very annoying. I don’t feel like I’m going any faster and I know how to swing in the game.
