Join me on a breathtaking 3.6 mile hike on the Tom McCall Point Trail near Rowena Crest in the Columbia River Gorge. This beautiful trail offers stunning views of Mount Hood, Mount Adams, and the Columbia River. Along the way, you'll see wildflowers, oak woods, and Douglas-fir forests.

The trail starts at Rowena Crest Viewpoint, where you'll have your first expansive view of the Columbia River Gorge. The trail then climbs up through the trees, offering beautiful views of the gorge and the river.

After about 1.8 miles, you'll reach McCall Point, where you can take a break and enjoy the views of Mount Hood and Mount Adams. The trail then continues up to Building Mountains Viewpoint, where you'll have even more amazing views of the gorge and the surrounding mountains.

This hike is a great way to experience the beauty of the Columbia River Gorge. It's challenging but doable, and the views are worth it.

The hiking trail is so great and beautiful. Is it mountain under the snow Mount Hood or Mount Adams? It looks so amazing. It's not nice when something breaks, especially the lens on the camera. Take care and have a nice day. Sretana and Zac. πŸ–πŸ˜„πŸ€—

The view at 0:50, wowee. Great little hike and film Thomas. The relief that you had a filter on that lens, phew. Stay safe out there!

Beautiful views on this trail, especially where you were sitting and standing at the scenic views. The landscape looked mostly bald with little canopy at least in the filmed areas. Hate that your lens cover broke, I bet there’s a big story behind that. Enjoyed the gentle music and thank you for sharing ✌🏽🌿 1:42

Beautiful scenery. The same thing happened to my camera, lense. The lense was totally destroyed while taking photos in the early morning of a comet.

I discovered this trail/area a year and a half ago, just before the wildflower bloom. Such beautiful views! It was also a time of processing grief for me; it's sad to be reminded of that time, but I also remember feeling some hope in those views, so it's nice to remember that. :) Great job on the video, as usual!
  • Great area, you captured the scenery perfectly! Was this filmed in the spring? Also wow, just realized your channel is blowing up, congrats, your work very much deserves it! I have been been learning a lot about how to improve my camera skills from watching your content, much appreciated!
