Do y'all think the final version of the Paradoxes is better than this idea?

Even if this information is true, I think it's an intentional change for balancing purposes not a bug. There's no reason a bug would stop them from implementing a feature entirely especially when we already have things similar to this concept in the game.

Also, Roaring Moon having a slightly lower BST than Salamence doesn't necessarily make it weaker when you look at the individual stats. It has half as much special attack and a little bit less defense in exchange for better HP, attack, speed, and special defense.

I haven’t watched a ttar video in a minute so I have a binge session ahead of me

Maybe it's more like, you bring the non paradox Pokemon into Area Zero and it gets an ability or held item that Paradox Evolves into the paradox mons depending on terrain.

You could even have something like Volcarona change into either Slither Wing or Iron Moth within the same battle depending on the conditions

Considering all the new stuff they already trying to put into the game (open world, non-linear progression, the free roam training mechanic, etc.) I can't blame them for throwing this out, especially if this was during the start of COVID. Having to communicate between multiple people for just this one mechanic would have been a nightmare and a half.

While game freak would never do it for so many pokemon it would be so cool if the future paradox pokemon could transform into different modes

Like iron treads having a proper wheel form, thorns having a form with all the glowing spikes, jugulis looking like some kind of big cannon, bundle flying with water jets, valiant splitting and combining its weapon, moth turning the wings into laser weapons or something, idk what for hands
  • That would have worked solely for Roaring Moon and Iron Valiant, considering the fact that both Pokemon are based on the Mega Evolutions of Salamence and Gardevoir / Gallade respectively.

Day 44 of asking Ttar to fight Leon

Edit: Because people keep saying he has already fought Leon I will change from saying fight Leon to uploading extreme

Brother this was revealed like 2 months ago.
  • Based off the phrasing it is more likely he is saying that if misty terrain is up you may get a special defense buff, if drizzle is up you get a special attack buff for both types of paradox’s

The way I’m understanding it, is that the way Protosynthesis & Quark Drive were supposed to work originally was that each different type of weather condition/terrain would raise a different corresponding stat (instead of just limiting it to Sun & Electric Terrain, like it is currently). Just as an example:

    Protosynthesis
    • Sun would raise Atk/SpAtk
    • Rain would raise Speed
    • Sand would raise Def
    • Snow would raise SpDef

    Quark Drive
    • Electric Terrain would raise Atk/SpAtk
    • Grassy Terrain would raise Speed
    • Misty Terrain would raise Def
    • Psychic Terrain would raise SpDef

But because of the bugs they simplified those abilities to just raise the Paradox’s one highest stat & only in Sun/Electric Terrain.

The booster energy almost looks familiar to the berserk gene item that was scrapped.
  • Here's an idea I thought of, depending on what weather is up you get different stat boosts. Like if Sun is up for a past paradox you Attack increases or if Rain is up your Defense increases.
  • @PJNyte
That would've been MEGA broken if it were the case
  • @Dougie248
I wonder if game freak will make a mega evolution Ho-Oh
  • @MarkTheShadow
I like the idea where a Salamence use booster energy, it will become Roaring Moon.

I REALLY doubt that there would've been any bug with what you're reading Khus tweet as. Like, we already HAVE Pokemon that form-change in specific weathers or terrains ALONG with a change to their stats, Cherrim is right there. Castform technically did all the way back in Gen 3! So... I really doubt there was any bug that led to them to scrap a concept where the Paradox-mons changed forms or their base stats according to the weather and terrain.
What I think happened here at best is that Khu got a mistranslation or a misunderstanding resulting from an early mistranslation of the Paradox-abilities or someone making wrong assumptions early on because it really doesn't seem there'd be any issues with what you described Paradox-mons were allegedly supposed to be. Other alternative is that he's making stuff up, I mean he also seemingly already did by putting way more importance on the games internal codenames being "Atlantis" than there ever ended up being, dude was plain wrong about development-side stuff like this in the past.
