  • I’m a retired Spanish instructor and just recently came across your channel. You are an outstanding instructor and I ache to see you disappointed. Very few people understand the work it takes to master a language.
  • One thing I really appreciate about your videos / you help us with those little nuanced things that most teachers don't think to mention

i know im a year late but regardless of that fact, you have seriously been a huge help to my improvement of learning spanish. You are quite possibly one of the best instructors on youtube! Keep going!
  • Brother, this is good stuff. Who would have thought that one of the best Spanish teachers would be retired cop.

Great class! I've learned more from these 4 lessons than 1 year of Duolingo.
  • I’ve been watching video after video… I wish I saw these years ago; so many different “online teachers “ and they were good but I’ve never heard things put the way you put them and I really like it!! Very appreciative of your style! Thanks a lot for sharing all of these with us!!

When I listen to Paul this is learning and meditation. Nice, step by step explanation in a soothing and relaxing voice. 🙏🏻
  • After finishing these 5 lessons I will be doing them over again with my husband. We are in a inique situation. We have two Spanish individuals living with us who do not speak much English and we do not speak much Spanish. Needless to say these conversational lessons are precious to us. So grateful you have them posted. Looking forward to more.
  • There are lots of good Spanish YouTube channels out there but you are my favourite!! I am absorbing the information so easily, I love the way you are teaching, it feels very unique and easy to understand! Muchas gracias 💗💗💗🙏🙏🙏
  • Another fantastic lesson Paul. Thanks for the time and effort you put into preparing these lessons. I really do appreciate each one of them.
  • I just discovered these videos, I hope you will continue to do them, they are so helpful to me.

  • Excellent word choices. Keep the lessons coming. Very practical everyday usefulness.

dude thank you once again for this i have been watching your content like crazy 2 lessons a day , duoling and 1 hour with subtitles on tv .. i want to be fluent and this is the only method i have thank you for this so much also got the book you mentioned in another video this method has been working as my neighbor is Spanish and i get to speak to them thank you so so so much
  • What I love about these videos is, I get to stop them, practice saying them, start the video again, stop the video, write my notes. I have repeated three lessons, and have taken a multitude of notes. Prior to each lesson, I go back, read each aloud, form new sentences, and make sure I'm doing this correctly. I told my husband I'd never spoken much more than si, gracias, and "donde delor?" horribly butchering the question but patients understood it. That was about the sum total of Spanish. So this morning I broke out in multiple conversations with ... none other than myself while going through notes. My husband says ... "That sounds great. What are you saying?" I laughed and said ONLY MY SPANISH TEACHER & I KNOW FOR SURE. I've been listening to Spanish radio, picking up a few words you've taught here and there. Great teacher. What I should have been able to learn in 4th grade, I am now actually learning at age 66. ¡Eres el mejor profesor de todos los tiempos!

You make learning so easy... I've learned more conversational Spanish in the past week from you than I've learned in 20 years
