MONCULUS is NOT on this island. Monculus is in the thumbnail because the event would take place during life formula. Please keep in mind that this is a fanmade My Singing Monsters island and all of the monster and element designs belong to Big Blue Bubble. I used sprites from fire oasis, fire haven, and ethereal workshop to make the colossal. Sorry for the very rushed colossal art.

Island Story/Scrapped trailer concept (Sorry if it's cringe lol): Monculus was feeling down and wanted to make an extra special life formula event. He got to work thinking of ideas. Monculus didn't just want to make costumes or discover a new variant. Monculus wanted to get creative. Monculus had an idea to experiment with the elements. He went over and got a box of elemental essence (this is essentially the dof element sigils redesigned in msm style that can be broken open and have the essence inside). Monculus started trying to combine the elements but it mostly backfired or exploded in his face. While he was working Ghazt was traveling back to plant island and saw Monculus. Monculus explained to Ghazt the situation but they could not think of anything. Monculus' frustration was growing but then he finally thought of something. Ghazt was on plant island and so was Potbelly. Using this idea, Monculus combined the Plasma and Plant essences. There was a dramatic pause and a big explosion but nothing seemed to have happened. Monculus was so fed up and was ready to quit when he heard the monsters gasping Reebro had looked through his telescope and found monsters being teleported and getting stuck on a mysterious new island. The only way to free the monsters is by elemental essence which is a new mechanic where you have to do tasks.

Mechanic (Elemental Essence): Elemental essence is a new mechanic for honey island which can only be obtained by completing daily/weekly tasks. Elemental essence is essentially the dawn of fire element sigils but redesigned into the regular msm style which can be broken apart with the essence inside. All monsters are on the island when you start out but they are stuck/muted in globs of honey and the only way to free them is by collecting enough essence. The amount of essence required = how much currency a monster costs in the market multiplied by some number with the exception of a few monsters.

For example: A Potbelly would require 50 elemental essence points to free and wake up on the island and you would have to do plant element specific tasks to get the required amount. Doing tasks and missions is the only way to get this essence and you can only get a certain number per day.

Tasks can include:
-Breeding
-Incubating
-Zapping
-Buying Decorations
-Synthesizing
-Clearing Obstacles
-Winning Colossingum Battles
-Leveling up monsters

I hope y'all enjoy this goofy little island I made. Please let me know what y'all think of the island mechanics! Unfortunately I will not be making any more islands like shadow cold, or poison earth but you are welcome to it! Sorry for using composer for some vocals, I know it's not ideal but I think they flow pretty well and sorry if the song is not the greatest. This island is completely composed by me and all animations and rigs are by me as well. I am no composer but I am glad with the results and I am happy to show off this island. I had always wanted to make a good island with official monsters. I got all of the sprites from the files of the game and rigged them using Moho Pro 12. I apologize that some animations were rushed but I really wanted to finish this as soon as possible. You have probably seen my community post about me leaving by now (go read it if you haven't) but Galactic Gateway will be the next and final island on my channel and I will be putting most of my focus on that now. I will also say that unfortunately Jake will not be composing it because he is busy but I think y'all will be very pleased with who is composing it. He wants to be kept secret for now but I can assure that you won't be dissapointed! I've got some more content planned over the next couple of weeks so stay tuned and as always please enjoy!
