Kuro really stepped up their game. I know, I know,... "Kuro LISTENED!". But I think it's more than that. The experience I had with the 1.1 patch was so amazing it's shocking how I had a ton of enjoyment out of a small patch. I'd even go as far as to say that I had more enjoyment out of this patch than the entirety of 1.0. This really says something about the base game, and we need to start thinking about if it's okay to leave the 1.0 story in the state that it's in.

    Did I get carried away with layering Hikari over the Jue Boss fight? Yes. But I'm going to keep doing this until Vanguard Sound Studio inevitably works on WuWa. Not gonna back down until it happens. I've mentioned this before, that's the hill I'm going to die on. I will say, one gripe I have with the area is that they need to take away that snowflake filter on your screen. It's a little annoying. Either way, I hope you also enjoyed the 1.1 update as much as I did.

    About the jue fight I feel like it's basically just he elden beast fight from elden ring. So it mostly exists as a spectacle.

    I agree that the Jue fight was a little lackluster. It's beautiful to look at, but trying to approach the boss can be annoying and it feels like it needed a second half because it was pretty easy

    If they give abby a way to actually support rover in combat I'd be a bit happier with its inclusion. Until then I'm still calling it freindrick.

    I agree, 1.0 was awful and I hope for the new player experience it gets changed. 1.1 really bait and switched on me. The end of 1.0 with the introduction of Abby made a piece of my soul die and 1.1 starting off talking about Abby for way too long had me thinking about skipping through most of the story going forward. Once Changli was introduced everything changed. I was engaged with everything from that point forward. Unlike 1.0 I watched every scene outside of the beginning parts with Abby. Going through the island was great, the frozen time was cool and the landscape was amazing. The build up to Jue was also pretty good. If Kuro keeps writing like this we're gonna be having a great time going forward. Here's to hoping they keep this up.

    This is my opinion so dont get mad at me okay 😊. I know genshin is their competitor but I think they should stay away from the path genshin has taken which is more casual, easy and more story driven focus. If the jue boss had to be hard fight where you can die and revive, I wish they should not hold themselves back and make it lorewise where you are really fighting a god like entity making this quest worthwhile to complete. Again this is just my opinion 😊
