This Changes EVERYTHING!

We ended up spending our anniversary down by the water with the boys. Later in the afternoon, Todd decided to pick up Chinese food and someone else who lives on the lake set off fireworks (not for us, just a coincidence LOL). I still can’t believe how fast the years slipped by…TEN years married, I’ll guess we really are getting older 😆...it's been nice to take a few days to relax away from the hustle of construction but we're SO excited to get back to work and finish this deck. How dreamy is it going to be?!

Please tell Dumpy that many of us consider him to be a national treasure. He is a fountain of knowledge and has helped to save this project. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Happy Anniversary. 10 years of an awesome life together. 💕

As President of the American Dumpy and Mel Fan Club, I think you guys should name something on your property after them. Something that's a permanent fixture, like a tree or particularly pretty viewpoint or something in their honor. As someone who's followed you guys from the RV days to now, it's been one heckuva ride and it's so exciting to see how far you've come!

When your pool is finished, always hang a little towel or piece of cloth into the pool, so when a squirrel or your cat falls into the pool they can climb out with the help of the towel/cloth.

I think you should adopt Dumpy, such a steady, calm guy. Thank goodness you found him! Happy anniversary xx

Greetings from us in BC. I married my husband on the same day as you married, August 2, 2014, and like you, we remarked how fast a decade flew by. We turned 70 this year, and can testify that, yes, time flies by faster with each passing year. We affirm you both in your intention to live more in the present, and take very opportunity you can to celebrate each other, your love for each other, and your love for life. Now that we are an old gay couple who met late in life, we wake up each day with gratitude for the day, and end each day with gratitude. We wish for your the happiness and joy that is a feature of every day.

Don't forget to start planting, mint, lavender, lemon glass, marigolds, garlic and rosemary all around the pool area. Just a other way to keep ticks away from pets and guest. Once they get established they will come back year after year and protect everyone from ticks and other bitting bugs. Wouldn't hurt to add a couple more bat nest/boxes

As a devout fan I am truly glad things are the progressing. As a women who gives birth and raises children I would argue the point of giving life to another human and raising another generation of good people beautiful and complicated not as you stated “simple.” Please enjoy your anniversary and rest of summer.

My personal kryptonite is when something that should take 3 steps suddenly takes 7, then 9, then spirals off into chaos and darkness. Watching y’all deal with all the errors that you’ve been saddled with thanks to crummy engineers and contractors (and I don’t even want to think about paperwork and permits and general bureaucracy)… Honestly it’s incredible. You two are incredible. You and your families deserve every moment of joy and tranquility and rosé dance parties that this incredible property and home will bring. Werk. ❤
