This music video is pure magic to listen to. I only wish that I could visit this village and see for myself the beautiful scenes depicted in the video.May God bless everyone of Irish Descent and all the Country and Peoples of Ireland.

I actually met her in the late 1950's in Ireland. Was fortunate to spend time with her. She is a wonderful lady. I learned some of the Irish language from her. We went to lots of places including all of the places filmed for The Quiet Man. I met her family. We went to the convent where her sister resides. Maureen has a beautiful home. If you talk to her tell her that the little girl she befriended still remembers and cherishes those wonderful times.

I own a spittoon from the film which was in the pub scene, when the old man sits down on the step,you can see it to his right our left looking at it, I bought it from america from the old republic studios when they finished. The pub scenes were actually filmed in republice studios america.
