What is Ecrew? When I had to uproot and move to Indiana, there was a car community called Bcrew (B for Bloomington, Indiana). These guys became my family. Instead of partying on the weekends, I was working on cars- and I loved it. Since starting youtube, I have started what I call Ecrew. It's a community where you get to take 10min out of your day and be involved in a build, but more importantly it's a family.

Sterling Marlin is a true gentleman. I had a flat flat on a trailer in front of his farm. I did not know this. Farm and I went up to the garage, which is just real simple out in the middle of nowhere Country barn style building, and he was getting ready to leave for a funeral. He was so kind and told me to use what I need to fix my trailer and just lock up behind myself. To blame him for an accident that happened during the type of racing that everybody participated in is rather silly

Good idea getting into the habit of protecting your hearing. I've had tinnitus from a loud 2 stroke exhaust incident that happened over 30 years ago. After that 1 time the ringing has never gone away and there's no cure for it. I just live with it by ignoring it most of the time. It's just a part of my life now.

The rubber piece in the spring is called a spring rubber. It makes the car loose or tight. On a pit stop usually the tire changer will put one in or take it out.

My best memory of Sterling was watching him set the (at that time) lap speed record at Daytona. I think it was 1989; could be + - a year, so still no restrictions ala post-Petty flippity-flip. I used to drive up to watch 1st day position qualifying. When Sterling left out of pit row he was Monfort lane from jump street. Wound 1st & 2nd to piston-launching level. He was a man on a mission! Two laps later it was mission completed. Truly the time period of NASCAR at its best!

Emelia called it. Safety straps for if the spindle and hub assembly disconnect from the car, that keeps it attached so it doesn't go 200 mph off into the distance injuring track workers, drivers, or especially fans.

I love the idea of using the engine to build a Petty replica, not just any replica, an Ernie Elliott built engine powered Petty replica, truly the best mash up i could thing of, he has built the fastest engine in '87, and petty was unstoppable in the Hemi, so as a hardcore NASCAR fan of the late '80s, i 100% approve this idea!!!

That was my driver before he retired what a wheel man please have him on the Chanel before you cut a master piece he is an Awsome story teller and full of laughs sad to see the car cut up but couldn’t be for a better reason

I used to be apart of a crew. My parent’s neighbor does stock car racing. He would spend hours building these cars. I would go over just to help. So I’ve been to a bunch of races including one in Daytona. My friend was in the ARCA series. My job was to be the gopher. I was retrieving racing fuel and I walked past Richard Petty.

I think a Hellcat motor and a ZF 8HP might find the engine bay of that NASCAR pretty fun... Would make a real cool drag car I think.
