I grew up as a young child listening to these artists.. I even sent JLP an email when I was 8 or so asking for advice as a young musician. He emailed back a long letter of encouragement. I haven't heard these artists in many years and hearing them is bringing tears to my eyes and a flood of energy to my heart. Thank you for this.
  • It feels as if three masters are having intimate conversation through their instruments. and we are outsiders eavesdropping!
  • I really appreciate how these three Master musicians allow patience and Grace to open up the composition and to let it breathe.

Jean- Luc Ponty is so beautiful and melodic. And he meshes rhythmically with Zakir, as well. Outstanding. Gorgeous rhythm playing by John. So nice. What a great trio!

The world needs more of this. Stop the anger, hatred, & division for the children's sake, please!
  • John's chords are simple, beautiful, captivating... how many lives could I have and still be able to continue enjoying this composition
  • Zakir Hussain is an extraordinary master. His understanding of the musical moment and the immediate implementation are simply incredible!
  • We know John can play fire breathing guitar so it’s such a pleasure to hear him play with such subtlety and restraint.

Love hearing Jean Luc Ponty with John McLaughlin again!
  • Rather than express admiration that these masters can still make art at this level, I would say that they can only make art at this level after following their lives’ paths to this point. The beauty here is breathtaking.

It is such a privilege to witness these three masters create such a beautiful piece of music. I’m left awestruck at how subtle and well-orchestrated it is. Absolutely magnificent.

Wonderful to see these guys. They've been playing together for nearly 40 years when this was made and it shows.
  • This music brings me to a place deep inside my heart, a feeling of purity and peace. Oh how our world needs music more than ever to connect to our universe, bring us to compassion and empathy for all of those who struggle just to exist. Thank you masters of a sound so unique, loving, and encompassing passion for all of us to hear. Been a long time since I have felt this way.
  • John holds the center as calmly and gracefully as the flight of a Great Blue Heron through rain.....amazing!
