My beagle recently passed away, I watched this Playlist in my recommended and I was expecting a sad song. Little did I know that I'd get plenty of bangers, and knowing that my doggo is in a better place. Floppy Rest in peace ❤️

Started playing classical piano at the age of 7, as well as playing the electone and pipe organ. At the age of 12, she participated in the "Yamaha Electone Competition" where she performed Bach's "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" and won second prize. She studied composition from the age of 15 and won the Yamaha Electone Competition at the age of 16. In college, she majored in music and graduated from the Music Department of Miyagi Gakuin University. In 1979, she performed at the "Montreux Jazz Festival" in Switzerland as a member of the "Inner Galaxy Orchestra led by Bingo Miki. The following year, 1980, she made her major record debut in Japan with "Don't Be Stupid," recorded with Ernie Watts (Sax). Since then, she released a series of original albums in the 80s and 90s. In 1999, she and her husband, guitarist Masatsugu Matsumoto, moved to her husband's hometown of Tottori, Japan. She has participated in local music activities and received the "30th Tottori City Cultural Award" in 2005. Unfortunately, her works were ignored by the music industry in Europe and the U.S., as she did not have the opportunity to sign release contracts in Western countries and international markets at her peak. So her releases albums remained in Japan, and unknown hidden from the rest of the world for a long time, until the advent of the Internet and media like YOUTUBE. Mostly people think it’s “Flying Beagle” by himiko kikuchi but in reality it’s “Himiko Kikuchi” by flying beagle. Very talented dog
-
The fact that one beagle can play so many insruments at once, with no aposable thumbs, all while flying, is truly remarkable.
-
We need to petition for this album to get repressed on cd, vinyl, cassette and every other piece of physical media ever this album should never be forgotten
-
im tripping on acid and this dog is cool as shit
-
The fact that this beagle composed this album all by himself is really inspiring. If he’s still alive, I’d like to give him a long scratch around the ears 👍
-
If there’s anything I’ve learned in this life, it’s that you always MUST click on old Japanese albums with interesting covers that pop up in your recommended tab on YouTube
-
This was recommended to me by YouTube. This is one of very few instances where I can actually thank YouTube for doing something great.
-
Dude understood thumbnail art way back in 87, good jams too EDIT female dude
-
This is exactly the music that would play as background of a beagle flying around.
-
You don't search for this album. The beagle flies you to enlightenment.
