The thing that is flying over everyone’s head is the obvious fact that Lyles is trying to fill the void left by the retirement of Bolt from the sport. All this behaviour, antics etc is geared towards being the new face of track and field and the IAAF and Olympic association having seen what Bolt did for the sport is also buying into it. That is why they gave him the gold instead of giving it to both athletes. Kishane who is a lot more reserved simply does not fit the model for them. Come on, it can’t be more obvious, they let him compete in the 200 even after testing positive for COVID! I t couldn’t be more obvious than that.

I think the whole Paris Olympic vibes was horrible, not just because Jamaica did not do well but also other countries that underperformed. It appears that there were barriers , ppl getting sick and I don’t mean just Covid. Favoritism and other mix up , mix up went down there. So many athletes brought up the favoritism issue.
