I am intrigued by locations where people have vanished or been found in the wilderness or nature. I want to be as respectful as possible of these locations and the victims. This location is around Roan Mountain on the Tennessee/ NC Border. Try to hike with a buddy and if you are alone bring a gps emergency beacon with you please!

    This upcoming week I am planning on making a longer format video exploring the area of “Spence Field.” In the Smoky Mountains national park. The location where, 4 or 5 year old, Dennis Martin went missing from site in a matter of a couple minutes. It’s arguably the most mysterious disappearances to ever happen at a National park. I can’t think of a case personally that drew so much attention and intrigue, even 50 years later people still talk about the case. Again, all due respect to those who have passed or have never been found in these cases.

    So sad... Unrelated, when we were young many many years ago we were to cool to tell anyone our plans in case of trouble. We figured we could handle anything. Thankfully nothing did... I changed my tune after the horror discovered of two sick dudes in Ca Sierra mountains area. Lennard Lake and Charles Eng (not sure on spelling) probably scrubbed from history due to the nature of horror they caused.
