PLEASE give me tips on how to get a smell out of a garment!!!! Also: apologies for the audio quality and varying lighting in this one yall, I did my best with the tools and space at my disposal but they do not always cooperate.
  • @MadiHearts
I feel like your style is sooo close to being “90’s/ early 2000’s kids art teacher” and I REALLY want to see you fully embrace that!
  • @riverAmazonNZ
One thing I’ve learned about purchases is you’re not going to get it right every time. As with everything else, it’s unrealistic to expect a 100% success rate! It’s helped me feel less bad about “fails”.
  • @arireb
yesss can we normalize being disappointed with something we settled for at thrift store because we were desperate and really wanted that style and we convinced ourselves that it fulfilled that need in the store but have never worn it because it’s not right but feel too guilty to get rid of it. and finally allow ourselves to actually get rid of it and find something better.

Omg now you need to do a “mend and refashion with me” video for that mend pile to help you tackle it! Mend piles always get bigger and bigger, never smaller 😢 I would find that pile so daunting, not gonna lie. The best of luck!

Being highly sensitive, I love hearing a fashion content creator actually talking about how the material feels. No matter how much I like an item visually, it has to feel comfortable in the first place.
  • @mjmaddocks1132
I was very surprised as to how few clothes you have! Your creativity makes it look like you have so much more.

Distilled white vinegar will be your best friend to get that thrift store / pit stain / general must and germs out of your clothes! Add a cup straight into the washer with your detergent or hand wash it with the same amount!
  • Seeing an overseas Youtuber wearing and mentioning an Edda t-shirt - who are actually an old rock band from my home country, Hungary -, and realizing that somehow it made it all the way over to the USA and into a video I'm watching absolutely made my day. How awesome is that omg.

BIAS TAPE! It makes the edges look professionally done, and prevents it from doing the rolling/fraying thing!

thank you for that reminder to be mindful of donations to the thrift store. Yes, most of the unsold items probably goes to landfills but a part of what isn't sold is being shipped off to our country in southeast asia and these are the second-hand items being sold here. While I have found a lot of cool pieces from these importations, there so so many useless items that are being sold off like fun run t-shirts, university merch, company apparel, really tattered clothes and like stuff that nobody would really wear. Some people treat clothing donations as a feel-good way to throw away stuff.
  • @egibso7
i love that i can recognize every single peice and that you really use your clothes rather than just buying and always having new stuff! it feels so much more sustainable and realistic

It's that time of the year again! I thank you and all the YouTubers who do closet cleanups, because these videos are so motivating!
  • @arshiasharma3614
Liz you come with the most creative coolest outfits with a relatively normal amount of clothes. Also thank you for your point at the end about finding an owner first, we all need to realise it's not as simple as donating to a thrift esp as fast fashion ruins the longevity and quality of our clothes
  • @spigney4623
Wearing a button down dress as a vest is such a good idea
  • @kendra555
the cute skirt potato sack on top dress is kind of giving that sheet ariel wore when she first got her legs and i mean that in the best way😂
  • @nessaarandur7740
Use white vinegar in your pre-wash to get smells out of your clothes. Bonus is it also acts like a colour refresher!
  • Sew the yellow painted flower shirt pattern onto a tote bag!! I feel like that could be super cute
  • @liminalum
girl GIRL. you NEED to get nipple stickers! I swear they will change your life! they are super affordable, are VERY comfortable on your skin (I literally slept for two days in them bc I didn't even feel them) and they obviously make your nipples not noticeable at all. heavily recommend! also, I think that your collection is very appropriately sized, but I've noticed you have a lot of basics. that's not bad at all obviously, but I feel like if you invested into buying just a little bit more statement pieces you could really elevate your look. but even without that, your fits fucking slap and you're AMAZING at styling your clothes! your videos bring me so much comfort, please never stop making them!! love love u <33

That black turtleneck with the puffy sleeves is my DREAM shirt. Heavens, I wouldnt care if it took me 10 minutes to get into, I'd wear it until it reduced to strings
