Did corporate greed lead to Boeing’s downfall? Comment below and tell us.

You forgot to mention Boeings Starliner. Space X got the job done in half the time for half the $. And Starliner has STILL yet to fly people into space. This is what happens when your board of directors doesn't really care about aerospace. Harley Davidson made the exact same mistake when they filled their board with people that didnt actually ride motorcycles. Smdh.

As a previous employee, I can tell you that, outsourcing of parts, cheap production techniques compromises the quality. Need to strengthen the quality over the price...to keep up the name....

This is a pattern. Whenever engineers are in charge of a company, their objective is to "improve the product", which subsequently improves revenues if done correctly. When such a company reaches heights, greedy businessmen want a piece of that money making machine, consequently they employ crony "managers" who change the objective to "maximise profits". When such things happen at companies that build products used by mass public, events like these are just inevitable. The government should regulate all such sectors to ensure that the CTO has at least as much executive power as the CEO. The profits are important, but not at the cost of safety and innovation. The objective needs to be (maximise profits + minimise safety mishaps). We need two individuals who are both democratically fighting for their individual objectives. Rather than one "president/CEO" who will override anything for profits.

So, they killed hundreds of people because of their crimimal actions yet nobody went to Jail. Unbelievable!
  • @blowemall
Today’s management priority: 1. Meet the goals so as to get CEO his bonus (in millions) 2. Meet the goals of all other managers in the company so each of them makes their bonus. 3. Steal or scratch any perks or benefits from those employees who did make the list in points 1 or 2. 4. Roll over all excess to next year and start all over.
  • As an X employee, working for 15 years i made sure my family or I never flew in a Boeing plane

Palki Sharma - queen of journalists ❤❤❤.
  • @StySiddhi
Yes ! Laying off experienced mature workers to please the shareholders leeds to loss of experience - "savoir faire" - and work ethics for the company. Less paid youngsters do not replace well paid workers !

The videos you record whether that be of Flashback or Between the Lines or even your show Vantage for that matter. They aren't just shows, but a way for the common man who does not have much expertise in what's going on in the world, to understand in the simplest of language, why what's happening. If I take my example, I wasn't interested in news until 2021. The year, when I began watching your shows. And since then, there have been no setbacks for me. I was haled as one of the most intelligent students in my class at school and appreciated by my teachers, and the same is the case at college in the present times. To cut it short, your videos have the power to transform people's personalities.

Airbus cockpits had the same layout for different aircraft. Pilot training on different versions was minimized as was maintenance.

Great aviation informatics .... greetings from Lahore. 🇵🇰

Palki, you forgot to mention it was China who first grounded the 737 Max after those 2 crashes- this prompted other countries to follow suit. The US FAA was the last to ground the plane and seemingly there was a collusion between Boeing and the FAA to allow them to fly for as long as they did before fixing the problem.
