A shortplay again. One of the easiest ports of the game. Try not to crash and youll make it. let go of accelerator every now and again on a tight corner and tyou should make it through. Only annoyance is the slow ai cars, just endup in a crash fest ;)

I actually prefure the C64 port of the game though. Just seems like there was more effort put into the port and presentation of the game. -

  • it's Outrun's scenery that really steals the show.  From the desert sands to forests to ancient ruins, each stage features rich color schemes and unique landmarks like trees, signs, stores, and windmills.

As a youngin', I always (and still do) thought it was hilarious that it takes 20 seconds to go from New York to DC in this game. Everyone up the east coast knows how notorious both cities are for their traffic. Heh heh.
  • I remember renting this back in the day and thinking like "OMG this has nothing to do with Out Run". Never rented it again

I wished AM2 ported this themselves... it'd be much better, and it could have awesome Vermillion/Rent a Hero style versions of the tunes, rather than shitty versions that use the terrible Tiertex sound driver.
