I frequently come on Youtube and watch the Terence Trent D'Arby old videos. He was beautiful, talented and electric on stage. As Sananda, he is obviously now very happy in his skin, an intelligent man who can still write a good song. Thank you for this video, and now I am going to listen to that excellent album that is somewhere in my collection.
  • We all loved his music, songs and voice. And we all fancied him......🥰🇬🇧

My hero, since I was 13 (1993), my parents loved The Hardline I was only 8 but knew every song. Then at 13 I saw "Delicate" on mtv. I was in love was my 1st crush.. I was lucky enough he came to my home town I met him in 1995. Just made me and my mum feel special so did his band. Am a white girl from a poor fishing town, so was my parents, sadly lost my mum a year after I last saw Sananda in 1995. He is my link to my mum. Even her funeral song was "I still love you". I was even bulled at school cos I liked symphony or ddmn and not the popular boy band crap. When my mum passed he wrote me such a beautiful msg. He was a young kid with a lot of talent and fame. At 43 years of age I still think he's the most honest best song writer...and don't need to prove his voice. So underrated it's sad.
  • We had such such beautiful music in the 70s and 80s I was born in 1970 and my mother had a vast vast collection of all kind of genres she is in her last stage of life and I was drawn to Terrence again and thank you so much I just wanted to know that he was happy and healthy ❤❤❤❤💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥🔥💃💃💃💃💃🤩

When I first heard Terence song “Write you name “ I was overwhelmed by the clarity and the power of his voice. I was never much of a fan, but his singing really got my attention. I can remember thinking that he sounded like Sam Cooke and Bobby Womack. I love you accent, and thanks for your insightful narrative on Terence. I hadn’t seen his “ Write you name..” video in awhile and seeing it YT was a joy to see. Peace Out.
